Kean boosts Fiorentina's hopes after leaping from bench he should not have been on | Nicky Bandini

Fiorentina's survival bid got a boost after Moise Kean came off the bench and scored the winning goal in a 5-1 thrashing of Cremonese, moving the team level on points with Pisa and Verona.

Kean was not expected to play, but Paolo Vanoli put him in the matchday squad at the last minute due to Edin Dzeko's injury. Kean's return from training after a private family matter had been kept under wraps, and his manager said he wouldn't even be on the bench if it wasn't for Dzeko's absence.

Fiorentina are struggling in Serie A, with five points from seven games since Vanoli took over as manager. The team has a new sporting director, Fabio Paratici, who is still waiting to arrive after facing delays.

Kean's time at the club was initially seen as a distraction, but his potential tapped into by coach Palladino and then used to great effect by Pioli before he left. Kean scored 19 goals in 32 Serie A games last season, including a stunning volley against Genoa. However, this season he has been less prolific.

Despite the win, Fiorentina still have their work cut out to avoid relegation. They face challenges both on and off the pitch, with renovations at the Stadio Artemio Franchi set to extend into 2027, and a leadership void left by Joe Barone's death in March.

man thats crazy! moise kean scores winner like he never missed a game lol who would've thought he'd be that important for fiorentina? they really needed him with edin dzeko out sick and vanoli putting him on the bench at the last min 🀯 i mean, the guy had some decent form last season but this season its been a bit off πŸ™ƒ still good for them though, 5-1 over cremonese is massive πŸ’₯ gotta keep fingers crossed for kean to stay fit and score more goals πŸ‘

OMG 🀯 just watched that Fiorentina game and I'm SHOOK! Moise Kean is like the savior they needed πŸ˜‚! I mean, who expected him to come off the bench and score the winner? That was pure magic ✨! The coach must have been thinking "why not?" because it clearly paid off. But seriously, this win gives them a much-needed boost and shows that they can still compete in Serie A. Still, they've got their work cut out for them with those renovations at the stadium 🏒 and a new sporting director who's taking some time to get there... fingers crossed Fabio Paratici brings his A-game soon! 😬

-Fiorentina's season just got a little less stressful after Moise Kean's comeback win πŸ†

[Illustration of a person being lifted up by a giant, with a speech bubble saying "I'm not done yet!"] -Kean might be back on track, but that new sporting director still hasn't arrived πŸ€”

[Image of a puzzle piece falling into place] -Maybe Fiorentina's season will start to come together now that they've got Kean scoring again πŸ’₯

just saw this crazy game at fiorentina 🀯 moise kean comes off bench & scores winner, what a turn around! coach palladino must've seen something in him that we didn't 😏. anyway, still a long shot for survival with all the drama off the pitch... renovations set to go on till 2027 🚧 and new sporting director not even here yet πŸ€”. kean's goal was sweet tho πŸ’₯

can't believe how quickly kean turned his season around πŸ’₯ like he just needed a break from all that drama outside the pitch & a bit of faith from palladino 😊 still feels like pioli didn't make him a priority tho, but at least this win shows he can still deliver. anyway, these 5-1 thrashings are gonna be tough to keep up πŸ”΄ gotta give it to vanoli for making that last-minute call πŸ‘ & now fiorentina's just one point behind pisa & verona in the table πŸ“Š we'll see how this momentum lasts though...

omg can you believe it? moise kean is like the ultimate superhero of fiorentina lol 🀣 he comes off the bench and scores a winner in a huge game! and to think he wasnt even expected to play πŸ˜‚ Paolo vanoli must be the real MVP right now. I mean, we all know how hard it is for teams to bounce back from a bad spell, but i really think kean's return could be the turning point for them. still, theyve got their work cut out for them - 5 points from 7 games is not great, and that sporting director fabio paratici is still MIA πŸ€”

just imagine if Kean wouldn't have scored that winning goal lol πŸ˜‚... would've been a total disaster for Fiorentina! they're so close to dropping out of Serie A now 🀯. I mean, it's not just about the on-field issues, like their new sporting director still not showing up πŸ™„ and the stadium renovations taking forever... but Kean coming off the bench and saving the day is a nice distraction πŸ’«. can't help but wonder if they'll be able to bounce back from this win and stay in Serie A πŸ”₯

πŸ€” just think about it, moise kean was expected to be a bench warmer but ends up scoring the winning goal 🎯! guess coach palladino & pioli saw something in him that others didn't 😏. anyway, fiorentina needs more than just one player to turn things around... they need a solid squad & some consistency from their players ⚽️. and what's with all these delays? fabio paratici still hasn't arrived yet πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. can't wait to see if kean's return is the spark fiorentina needs πŸ”₯!

omg, can you believe that Moise Kean just came out of nowhere and scored a winner for Fiorentina 🀯?! i mean, i know he wasnt expected to play, but its clear his skills are still there πŸ™Œ. the team really needed this boost, especially with the renovations at the stadium set to go on till 2027... that cant be helping their morale 😩. and poor edin dzeko, hopefully hes okay with his injury πŸ€•. anyway, back to kean - i think he was a bit underrated when he first joined the team, but now we see why coach palladino saw something special in him πŸ’‘. lets just hope this win gives them some momentum for the rest of the season... they really need it πŸ˜…

OMG 🀩 this is like the best news EVER!!! Moise Kean came from nowhere (literally, he wasn't even expected to play) and scored that winning goal?!?!! πŸ’₯ I'm literally jumping up and down right now!!! The team needs him so bad, it's amazing to see him finally tap into his potential. And can we talk about how underrated this guy is? 😍 19 goals in 32 games last season was insane! 🀯 Now he just needs to stay fit and focused... fingers crossed for Fiorentina! πŸ’ͺ

idk about this... seems like Kean just happened to be fit enough to score that winning goal πŸ€”πŸ’Έ i mean, what was he doing during his private family matter? was it just a random coincidence or was there something more to it? and what's with Vanoli putting him in the squad at the last minute? was that some kind of favoritism or just good timing?

and let's not forget about Paratici's delay... is he still waiting because he's not on board with the team's strategy or is it just a legit delay? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ either way, i think we need more info before we start celebrating like this πŸŽ‰πŸ˜

oh great, just what we needed - another Moise Kean savior story πŸ™„. seriously though, this kid's got game, no doubt about it. it's crazy how one goal can turn the whole season around for a struggling team like Fiorentina. they've been on shaky ground since vanoli took over, and now they're level with pisa and verona? that's some next-level management right there 🀯.

anyway, i'm glad kean got to play and stuff, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. one win doesn't change the fact that fiorentina still have a ton of work to do if they wanna avoid relegation. and can we talk about how messed up the sporting director situation is? paratici shows up after months of delays... what even is the plan here πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ?

man, i'm surprised by that comeback from moise kean 🀯! didn't expect him to make an impact like that, especially after being on the bench for so long. but, you know, football is all about momentum now πŸ˜…. fiorentina's got a tough road ahead with relegation looming large, but that win over cremonese might just be the kick they need to get back in the mix πŸ’ͺ.

can't help but feel for the team though, with edin dzeko out and renovations at the stadium causing delays... it's like they're getting hit from both sides πŸ€•. but hey, kean's goal showed they still got some magic left in 'em ✨. let's see if they can build on this momentum...

idk man... i think fiorentina's chances are actually getting worse πŸ€”, they just got lucky with kean scoring that goal. but at the same time, it's awesome to see them get a boost like this and move up the table πŸ“ˆ. their manager vanoli is doing a good job or so i thought until now 😐, and the new sporting director paratici still hasn't arrived yet... what's going on with that? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ anyway, kean's return could be a game changer... or not πŸ€”

.. it's crazy how one player can turn everything around for a team... Moise Kean, I mean, he just came out of nowhere like that 🀯. You think about the emotional rollercoaster he must've been on after dealing with his family stuff and then being called back in by the manager when Edin Dzeko got hurt 😬. It's like life gives you these unexpected twists and turns, right? And for Kean, it was like a second chance πŸ”„.

But what I find interesting is how this win brings Fiorentina out of the relegation zone... does that mean they're in control of their own destiny now? Or are there still too many factors outside of their control, like those renovations at the stadium and the leadership void left by Joe Barone's passing 🀝. It just goes to show how complex it is, you know? One win doesn't solve everything, but it can give you a glimmer of hope πŸ’‘.

🀩 oh man can you believe it?! Moise Kean comes off the bench and scores the winning goal 🎯! It's like he was made for this moment πŸ’«. I'm so stoked to see him back on form, 19 goals last season was insane πŸ”₯. Now Fiorentina has a chance to turn their season around and maybe even sneak into Europe 🌟. Kean's return is just the boost they needed, let's hope this is just the start of something special ⚑️!

πŸ†πŸ’₯πŸ˜ƒ Moise Kean just saved Fiorentina's season! I mean, who saw that coming? 🀯 They were struggling so much, but Kean stepped up when it mattered most πŸ’ͺ. Coach Palladino knew he had something special with him 🎯. The team was relying on Vanoli and Paratici to turn things around, but this win is a huge morale booster ⚑️. Still gotta face the music though - relegation is still on the cards πŸ€”. But for now, let's celebrate Kean's heroics πŸŽ‰!

omg like can you believe moise kean just saved fiorentina from relegation lol 🀯πŸ’₯ i mean its been a tough season for them but kean's back and he brought the heat with that winning goal 🎯πŸ”₯ now they're level on points with pisa and verona, gotta keep pushing though πŸ˜… cant let their guard down at all πŸ‘Š
