Here's a summary of the article:

* Candidates spent the weekend attending campaign events and getting face time with New Yorkers, ahead of the early voting period which ended on Sunday.

**Miami Mayor Francis Suarez's Comments**

I gotta say, I'm a bit worried about this election in NYC. With all the talk about Zohran Mamdani being a "Democratic socialist" and Curtis Sliwa's... erm... interesting comments 😂, it feels like we're heading for some pretty divisive politics.

Personally, I think what bothers me most is how this might affect Miami real estate prices 🏠📈. As someone who's been lucky enough to visit both cities, I can see why people would want a more relaxed vibe in Miami – NYC just feels so... intense all the time 😅.

But at the same time, I'm curious to see how Zohran Mamdani's policies will shape up and what kind of impact he'll have on the city. Fingers crossed it'll be for the better 🤞!

so NYC is about to get a new mayor and I'm low-key hoping Zohran Mamdani doesn't become the next Mayor 😂. Cuomo as an indie is kinda weird, but hey who am I to judge. Curtis Sliwa's prediction about people moving to Miami is wild tho 🤯, like what makes NY so special? I mean, it's not all sunshine and rainbows but it's home for many. And can we talk about the government shutdown tho? It's getting absurd 💸. Like, when do they plan on reopening the gov? 🙄

sooo another election, and it's gonna be super interesting 🤔 cuz Zohran Mamdani is like a total dark horse 🐎, no one saw him comin'... meanwhile Andrew Cuomo's tryin' to make a comeback as an indie 🤷‍♂️, but I'm not sure if that's workin' out for him... and Curtis Sliwa's just bein' Curtis, LOL 😂... Miami Mayor Francis Suarez is like the ultimate election predictor dude 📊, always got some juicy tea to spill... 🍵

OMG u guys cant even believe what's going on rn with the NYC mayoral election!!! 😱 it's like they're literally fighting for control of the city and it's getting super intense 🤯 i mean zohran mamdani is running as a democrat and he's all about making NYC more affordable and equitable 🌈 but then there's andrew cuomo running as an indie and he's got some serious baggage from his time in office 🚮 and don't even get me started on curtis sliva as the republican nominee lol what does he even stand for 🤷‍♀️

anywayz back to the election and i just cant help but think about how much it matters 💯 if mamdani wins, it could be a major blow to the real estate market in miami 🏖️ because Suarez is saying that people are gonna flee nyc and move to florida 🌴 but what about all the ppl who actually LIVE here and wanna make a difference 🤝

and omg have u guys heard about the government shutdown yet 🤯 it's like they're playing a game of chicken and its getting super frustrating 🚫💔

I'm so excited about this election, I feel like it's gonna be a big deal for the city 🤩. I've been following Zohran Mamdani's campaign and he seems super passionate about making NYC a better place for everyone. I'm also curious to see how Curtis Sliwa will do as the Republican nominee - has anyone met him in person yet? 💬 I mean, Andrew Cuomo is like a total veteran politician, so it'll be interesting to see if his experience will give him an edge. As for Francis Suarez's comments about NYC exodus... I don't know if that's really gonna happen, but I do think Miami might benefit from the influx of people 😊. Can't wait to cast my vote and find out who wins! 👍

Man... can you believe it's already time for the NYC mayoral election 🤯? I'm kinda curious about Zohran Mamdani, he seems like a strong candidate but have we seen enough from him yet? I mean, how's his plan to tackle homelessness gonna work out? It feels like all three candidates are saying the same thing - change is needed, let's make NYC better. But how do we actually make it happen?

And honestly, I'm getting a bit tired of all this back and forth between the parties 🙄. Can't they just get along for once? The government shutdown thing is so frustrating... $600m to help states cover administrative costs? It feels like a drop in the bucket when you're talking about the bigger picture.

I wish there was more discussion around the real issues affecting New Yorkers, like affordable housing and public transportation. Are we just gonna talk about this stuff until it's too late? 😕

omg I'm so confused about this election 🤯 - Zohran Mamdani seems super qualified and all, but at the same time, I'm like "wait, isn't he a dem? won't that just be more of the same?" 🤷‍♀️
and what's up with Andrew Cuomo being an independent? didn't he used to be a rep? 🤔 is he really switching teams because... reasons? 💸
Miami Mayor Suarez sounds like a total party pooper, but at the same time, his warnings about NYC making a mass migration to Miami are kinda plausible... I mean, wouldn't that happen if Mamdani got in? 🌄
and can we just talk about how this gov shutdown is getting out of hand? 🚫 $600m sounds like a lot, but at the same time, it's not even enough to cover half the cost of the shutdown... what's the point of even having funds if they're just gonna get spent anyway? 😒

I gotta say, I'm not sure why Miami Mayor Francis Suarez is already making predictions about New York's real estate market just because one candidate has a "Democratic socialist" label. Like, hasn't he done that before? 🤷‍♂️ It feels like he's trying to stir the pot for clicks or something.

Also, what's up with all these experts predicting doom and gloom if Zohran Mamdani wins? I mean, we've seen elections go one way or another and it doesn't always lead to catastrophic consequences. Can't a city just function without a fancy new mayor? 🤔

idk what's going on with miami and new york, but have you guys tried those new avocado toast places? 🤯 they're soooo good, i went there over the weekend and had this amazing breakfast combo... anyway back to NYC, why do politicians always have to be so serious all the time? can't we just have some fun for a sec? like, has anyone seen that new season of "The Office"? 😂

I'm still getting used to all this politics stuff 🤯. You know what I did back in my day? I didn't even think about how some politician's election might affect another city's real estate prices 🏙️. But now, it seems like everyone's got an opinion on everything 🗣️. I'm not saying Francis Suarez is wrong, but can we just focus on who's gonna run the city of New York for once? 😂 And what's with all this government shutdown drama? It's like they're trying to outdo each other in some kind of bizarre game of musical chairs 🎸. Anyway, I guess it's good that Andrew Cuomo is giving Mamdani a run for his money... or should I say, a run for the mayorship? 🏃‍♂️

omg i'm so done with all these politicians making promises they can't keep lol 🤣 anyway, i do think it's kinda weird that Suarez is already predicting a huge impact on NYC real estate prices just because Mamdani wins... like, doesn't he know how the economy works? 🤑 plus, can we talk about how ridiculous the government shutdown is? 34 days in and still no resolution? it's like they're trying to keep us all distracted while they argue amongst themselves 🤦‍♂️

OMG 🤯, can you believe Curtis Sliwa is even running for mayor as a Republican? I mean, we all love the guy and his Rescue dogs 🐕, but come on... did he really think this would be a good idea? 😂

Let's look at some stats though: NYC voters are super liberal, with like 60% of them voting for Democrats in the last election 📊. If Zohran Mamdani wins, it'll likely be because he has the support of those strong NYC blue voters 🔵.

As for Miami Mayor Suarez's predictions about an exodus from NYC... did you see that graph showing population growth in Miami since 2010? Like, it's been steady at around 25% increase 📈. That's not gonna happen just because one mayor makes some predictions 😂

By the way, have you seen this pic of Andrew Cuomo's campaign signs being vandalized? Sad! 🤦‍♂️ On a more positive note, did you know that NYC has been investing $1 billion in affordable housing initiatives since 2019? That's like, totally on-brand for our mayor Zohran Mamdani 😊

I'm so done with all this election drama 🤯. Like, can't we just have one winner and be done with it? It's getting old watching both sides trash talk each other over a $600m Snapchat benefit 😒. And what's up with Suarez's predictions about Mamdani's NYC takeover? Miami's got its own issues, dude. We shouldn't be worried about New York's problems. I'm all for Andrew Cuomo as an Independent, he's my guy! 👊

🤔 idk why people are so down on Zohran Mamdani, he seems like a solid candidate to me. I mean, sure Andrew Cuomo's got some baggage, and Curtis Sliwa's got some weird ideas 🤪, but Mamdani's got the whole "for the people" vibe going on 💯. And honestly, who cares about Miami real estate prices? It's not like NYC is gonna be empty if Mamdani wins... like, we've been through tough times before and we always bounce back. The government shutdown is just a bunch of politicians being lazy 🙄, when will they get their act together?!

omg u guys i am literally so done with the whole NYC mayoral election rn it feels like we're just being manipulated by politicians who don't even care about us 🤯 meanwhile our country is still stuck in a government shutdown and it's all because they can't agree on anything 🚫 like what's the point of having elections if the outcome is just gonna be more of the same old politics 💔 and btw has anyone noticed how Cuomo's whole "independent" thing doesn't really make sense? he's still got all the trappings of a democrat and now he's trying to position himself as some kind of middle-ground guy 🤷‍♂️ like, can't we just have real change for once?! 😩

🤔 just thinkin, all this drama about politics and who's gonna run NY city is crazy... what's the real issue? 🤑 how much money are we really talkin about here? $600m could feed a lot of ppl. 🍴 instead of fightin over the mayor seat, why not focus on gettin people back to work? 🚧 34 days and still no deal... when do we expect somethin to change? ⏰

Man, this NYC mayoral election is gonna be wild 🤯. Curtis Sliwa's got a good shot at winning, but I'm still skeptical about him being a viable candidate. He's got that crazy personality and all, but can he really bring the city together? 😂 And what's with Andrew Cuomo running as an Independent? Is he trying to avoid getting caught in the party machine?

Miami Mayor Suarez's comments about Zohran Mamdani are pretty interesting though. I mean, it's true, New York might see a migration of artists and creatives who don't want to deal with all the red tape, but is that really something we can control? 🤷‍♂️ And $600m for SNAP benefits? That's not exactly breaking news... when are we gonna get some real solutions to our social issues?

The government shutdown is getting old, fam 💔. Can't they just put their differences aside and work together for once? I'm all about civility in politics, you know? 🤝

I don't think Curtis Sliwa's chances of winning are as low as everyone makes it out to be. He's been running a pretty effective campaign and has some big-name endorsements. Plus, voter turnout in NYC can be huge, so if people show up to vote, he could definitely give Mamdani a run for his money 🤔🗳️

omg i'm trying to vote online but not sure how this works lol did they have voting machines back in 2020? so the new york mayoral election is kinda big news right now... i wonder who would win, zohran mamdani seems like a nice guy but andrew cuomo's been in office before... do people really think curtis sliwa has a chance tho?

i saw on instagram that miami mayor francis Suarez is not happy about zohran mamdani winning the election lol sounds like he's trying to scare people away from new york. i don't get why politicians always have to take things so personally

anyway, did you know that my friend's cousin lives in florida and they're thinking of moving there because of the "sunshine state" vibes?
