Omg
this is insane! Zohran Mamdani actually did it!
I'm so hyped for him, especially since he won by such a huge margin - 75%! That's crazy!
I was wondering if his Muslim faith would be an issue in the election and if Cuomo's attacks on him were going to backfire. But Mamdani just proved everyone wrong and showed that people are more open-minded than we think
.
I'm also loving how he focused on affordability as a major campaign issue - it's clear that his message resonated with voters. I mean, 48% of Latino voters supported him? That's amazing!
And now, this could be a game-changer for the Democratic Party. We need more people like Mamdani who care about justice and humanity.
I'm curious to see how Cuomo reacts to this loss - was it really necessary for him to attack Mamdani over the Palestinian liberation protests?
I also want to know more about Mamdani's plans as mayor - will he be able to address the affordability crisis in NYC? So many questions!
