Why is Trump's justice department investigating Fed chair Jerome Powell?

🤔 This is getting crazy, man... I don't know what Trump's problem is with the Fed. They're just trying to do their job and keep the economy stable. If they can't even trust each other, how are we supposed to trust them? 🤷‍♂️

I mean, think about it - if the White House tries to influence monetary policy, that's like trying to play with fire without knowing how to put it out. It's a recipe for disaster. And what really gets me is that Powell's been defending the Fed's independence for years and now he's getting threatened by Trump? That's just not right.

It's like they're playing a game of economic chicken, where everyone's got their finger on the trigger. If we don't get the Fed to do its job, the economy could go haywire. I'm not saying Powell's perfect, but come on - he's been doing his best to keep things stable.

This whole thing just reeks of politics over people. Can't they see that the Fed's just trying to help? We need stability in this country, not more chaos. 🙄

omg 🤯 what is going on w/ trump rn!!! 😱 he thinks he can just play games w/ the fed's independence? 🤑 like, come on man! Jerome Powell is literally doing his job & trying to keep inflation under control... who does trump think he is, tho? 💪 anywayz, gotta say, i'm low-key freaked out about this whole thing. what if it affects the economy? 🤔 like, we dont wanna see another 70s style recession, fam 😬

🤔 This is just getting out of hand. The US economy can't even start to make sense when Trump's White House is interfering with the Fed's operations like this. I mean, what's next? Trying to dictate who gets a promotion at the Fed just because you don't like their decisions?

And let's be real, how long have we been hearing about inflation and interest rates being manipulated by politicians instead of data-driven decisions? It's not like it's a new thing or anything. But this time, it feels different. The whole thing has that "we're-faking-it-till-we-make-it" vibe to me.

The Fed's independence is just a fancy way of saying they don't take orders from anyone. And if Trump's White House wants to play hardball, maybe they should try working within the system instead of trying to undermine it. It's not like it's going to magically fix itself... 🤑
