What are Rachel Reeves's options after U-turn on income tax rates?

just thought it's interesting how rachel reeves is shaking things up in this month's budget 🤔. not sure about the pay-per-mile charge though - feels like that could be a total cash grab for the gov 💸. on the other hand, extending the income tax freeze makes sense, especially since we're already paying through the nose with council tax 📉. also wondering if they'll actually make those capital gains tax reforms stick... fingers crossed it's not just another half-baked idea 😒. what do you guys think about these new measures?

i mean dont get me wrong, some ppl might say its unfair or something, but id rather see some innovation and progress over just sticking to the same old tax rates all the time. and thats exactly what reeves is doing here 👍
