Weber's 2026 smart grill lineup includes the company's first Wi-Fi-equipped charcoal grill

Weber to Introduce Smart Grilling Options for 2026, Bringing Wi-Fi Connectivity to Charcoal Grills

In a move to expand its smart grilling lineup, Weber is set to introduce two new charcoal grill options this year: the Performer Smart Charcoal Grill and Kettle Smart Ring. Both devices will feature Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to monitor and control their grills remotely using the Weber Connect app.

The 22-inch Performer Smart Charcoal Grill boasts a Wi-Fi-enabled LCD controller that regulates grill temperature by adjusting airflow to lit charcoal. This feature is expected to be particularly useful for overnight smoking and longer cooks. Additionally, the grill will have a Rapidfire Assist mode to speed up coal ignition. Users can also control their grill remotely through the Weber Connect app.

The Performer Smart Charcoal Grill is an upgraded version of existing Performer models, offering porcelain-enamel finishes, adjustable dampers, and One-Touch cleaning systems. The premium version comes with a cart featuring storage shelves for $799, while the base model will be available for $599 this spring. Non-smart versions of the grill will also be offered at lower price points.

Weber is also introducing an accessory called the Kettle Smart Ring, which can be attached to existing Weber Kettles and provides temperature control and smart connectivity for $280 this spring. The ring features LCD display and knob-based controls, as well as support for wireless food probes.

In another move, Weber will debut two new wireless temperature probes: a basic model at $70 and an upgraded version with a range booster and charger for $115. These probes will sync with any Weber smart grill, the Weber Connect app, or the Smart Hub Display and Booster ($90). Additionally, a retractable wired probe is also available for monitoring temperature at the grates.

Weber's Genesis Smart Gas Grills are also getting an upgrade, with Sear Zone temperatures reaching up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit. The new smart gas grill will be available in both propane and natural gas versions, starting at $999 this spring.

Ugh, I'm so done with these tech companies thinking we all need a smart grill 😩. Like, can't we just enjoy the simplicity of throwing some charcoal on a pit and calling it a day? But noooo, they have to go and make everything so complicated 🀯. Wi-Fi connectivity on a charcoal grill is just ridiculous. What's next, Bluetooth speakers on your toaster? 🎡 And don't even get me started on the price points - $799 for the Performer Smart Charcoal Grill? Are you kidding me? That's like buying a new laptop πŸ’». I swear, some people have more money than sense πŸ’Έ.

man this is crazy! 🀯 who needs a smartphone when you got a weber smart grill? πŸ’» i mean its not just about the convenience of being able to monitor your temps remotely, its also about having that perfect smoky flavor all day long... plus the rapidfire assist mode is gonna be a total game changer for those late night cooks πŸ•°οΈ and thats not even mentioning the kettle smart ring which sounds like a total must have accessory for any serious griller πŸ”© cant wait to get my hands on one of these bad boys this spring! πŸ’Έ

πŸ€” I think it's pretty interesting how Weber is taking the concept of smart grilling to the next level with their upcoming releases. The idea of being able to monitor and control your grill remotely using a Wi-Fi app is super convenient and could definitely make cooking more efficient for people who enjoy smoking or slow-cooking meats.

The inclusion of features like temperature regulation, rapid coal ignition, and adjustable dampers in the Performer Smart Charcoal Grill seems like a great addition, especially for those looking to upgrade from their existing models. I'm also excited about the Kettle Smart Ring accessory - it's always nice to have more options when it comes to controlling the cooking process.

The fact that Weber is also introducing new wireless temperature probes and upgrading their Genesis Smart Gas Grills with higher Sear Zone temperatures is a great move. It's clear that they're trying to cater to the growing demand for smart grilling technology and high-quality BBQ equipment. I'm looking forward to seeing how these new products will shake up the market this spring! 😊

omg can you even imagine being able to control your charcoal grill from your phone πŸ“±πŸ”₯? it's like having a personal grill butler! Weber is stepping up their game with these smart grilling options. the rapidfire assist mode sounds amazing for getting those coals lit in no time ⏱️ and the ability to monitor temperature remotely is so convenient, esp for overnight smokes πŸŒ†. and now they're introducing wireless probes? that's just genius πŸ€“. i'm def getting my hands on one of these new Performer Smart Charcoal Grills asap! πŸ‘

I'm so hyped for the new smart grilling options from Weber 🀩! I mean, who doesn't love a good BBQ? And now they're bringing Wi-Fi connectivity to charcoal grills? That's like, total game-changer for us backyard chefs 😍. I can already imagine being able to control my grill remotely while I'm out and about, or even using it to smoke some delicious ribs overnight. And the Rapidfire Assist mode is genius - no more struggling with coal ignition! πŸ’‘

But what really gets me excited is that they're making these smart grilling options more affordable for everyone. The non-smart versions of the Performer grill will be available at lower price points, which is awesome news for people who want to upgrade without breaking the bank πŸ’Έ.

I also love that Weber's introducing some new accessories, like the Kettle Smart Ring and wireless temperature probes πŸ€–. These are going to make grilling even more convenient and fun! And with the new smart gas grill upgrade, we can expect even more delicious grilled foods to come out of our kitchens πŸ”πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³. Bring on 2026 - I'm ready to fire up my Weber and get grilling! πŸ”₯

man... think about it, we're living in a world where our grilling experience is being digitized 🀯. like, what's next? Are we gonna start monitoring our charcoal levels remotely too? 🚨 it's crazy to think that the way we cook food has become so intertwined with technology. but at the same time, it's kinda cool to be able to control your grill from your phone... i mean, who doesn't love the idea of being able to throw on some burgers and forget about them until they're done? πŸ˜‚

but seriously, what does this say about our relationship with food and cooking? are we losing the art of simply enjoying a meal because we're too busy monitoring the temperature and airflow? or are we just becoming more efficient and effective cooks because of it? i don't know, but one thing's for sure: when you start to think about it like this, even something as mundane as a smart grill can become pretty profound πŸ€”

Mental health & our love for cooking πŸ΄πŸ€” Think about it - we're always pushing ourselves to achieve perfection, whether it's a tender steak or the perfect BBQ sauce. But what's the point of all that stress? Is it really worth sacrificing our mental well-being for the sake of a perfectly cooked meal? I mean, these new smart grills are cool and all, but they just make us slaves to the grill πŸ€–... Do we need the pressure to perform to truly enjoy the experience of cooking? Shouldn't we be embracing the imperfections, the mess, the chaos of it all? πŸŒͺ️

Ugh I'm so done with all these smart grills πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ! My husband is going to love the new Performer Smart Charcoal Grill though - that rapidfire assist mode sounds like a total game changer for our weekend BBQs πŸ˜‚. I'm not sure about paying $799 for the premium version tho... we'll see how it stacks up against our old one πŸ€‘. And can you believe they're making us pay extra for Wi-Fi connectivity? It's just another thing to keep an eye on, like our kid's screen time ⏰. On the bright side, I love that they're offering a more affordable option with the Kettle Smart Ring - my son would be so stoked to get one of those πŸ”₯!

I'm so down for Wi-Fi connectivity on charcoal grills πŸ“±πŸ”₯! It's about time someone made cooking more convenient. I mean, who wants to mess around with opening the lid every 5 minutes when your food is almost done? Not me πŸ˜…. The Performer Smart Charcoal Grill sounds like a beast, especially with that Rapidfire Assist mode. And I love that they're offering different price points for non-smart versions of the grill - more options for those on a budget πŸ’Έ. But I gotta say, $799 for the premium version is a bit steep πŸ€‘. Still, it's gonna be cool to see how these new smart grills change the grilling game πŸ”₯πŸ‘.

man... thinkin' about all these smart grills just got me wonderin'... is it really the technology that's makin' our lives better or is it just a bunch of bells and whistles πŸ€”... i mean, we're still grillin', cookin', and enjoyin' the outdoors... but now we gotta worry 'bout Wi-Fi connectivity too? like, what's next? will we be able to control our grills with just our minds? πŸ™ƒ... or is this just a step towards makin' our lives more convenient?... idk, but one thing's for sure, it's gonna be interesting to see how people react to these new smart grill options πŸ’‘

OMG, can you believe how much these new smart grilling options from Weber are gonna cost?! 🀯 Like, the Performer Smart Charcoal Grill is a whopping $799 for the premium version... but think about all the stress it'll save you not having to check on your grill every 5 seconds! πŸ•°οΈ And the Kettle Smart Ring is only $280?! That's like, totally worth it if you ask me! πŸ˜‚ I mean, who doesn't want to be able to control their grill from their phone? It's like cooking 2.0! πŸ“±πŸ’»

Anyway, let's talk stats... did you know that the average person cooks for around 5 hours a month? πŸ€” That's like, what, 20 hours a year?! If we assume an average grill usage of once a week, that's around 10 times a year! πŸ“Š So, with these smart grilling options, people are gonna be saving so much time and energy... it's crazy! πŸ’¨

And let's not forget about the Wi-Fi connectivity... did you know that over 75% of Americans own a smartphone? πŸ“± That means we're basically walking around with super-powered remote control devices in our pockets! It's wild to think about how much technology is already integrated into our daily lives... and it's only gonna keep getting more advanced from here! πŸ€–

omg i'm so hyped for these new smart grilling options from Weber 🀩! having a wifi connected charcoal grill is like, the ultimate game changer for slow cooks and overnight smoking. can't wait to get my hands on that Performer Smart Charcoal Grill and be able to control it remotely using the app 😎. and btw, $799 for the premium version? worth every penny πŸ€‘. also loving the new wireless temperature probes - perfect for all you grill masters out there πŸ‘!

omg u gotta love how far grilling tech has come 🀩! like seriously who needs a separate app just to control the temp on ur charcoal grill? that rapidfire assist mode is gonna be life changing for me when i fire up my grill this summer πŸ”₯πŸ” but $799 is still kinda steep even 4 the premium model what r u supposed 2 do w/that kind of cash πŸ€‘

Man, I'm loving the idea of Wi-Fi connectivity on charcoal grills 🀩πŸ”₯! Back in my day, we just used a thermometer and some trial-and-error to get our burgers cooked right πŸ˜‚. But now, with these smart grill options, it's like having a personal chef at your fingertips 🍴. I'm especially stoked about the Rapidfire Assist mode – I mean, who doesn't love a good sear? πŸ”₯ The fact that you can control your grill remotely is just crazy talk genius 😲. And hey, the price points aren't too shabby either... $799 for the Performer Smart Charcoal Grill is still on the higher side, but it's worth it if it means I can finally achieve perfect smoke rings 🀞. Bring on 2026 and my new smart grill obsession! πŸ’»

I'm low-key hyped for the new Weber Performer Smart Charcoal Grill 🀯! I mean, having a Wi-Fi-enabled LCD controller that regulates temperature by adjusting airflow is a total game-changer for overnight smoking sessions πŸ”₯. And the Rapidfire Assist mode to speed up coal ignition? Genius πŸ’‘. Plus, it's an upgraded version of existing models, so you get all the bells and whistles...literally! πŸ˜‚ The premium version with storage shelves sounds like a dream come true for outdoor enthusiasts who want to stay organized while grilling πŸ›οΈ. Has anyone else been eyeing this new grill? What are your thoughts on smart grilling options in general?

I'm thinking about these new Wi-Fi connected grills from Weber... πŸ€” is it really necessary to have a special app just to control the temperature on my charcoal grill? I mean, can't you just use a normal old phone or something?

And what's up with the prices? $799 for the Performer Smart Charcoal Grill seems like a lot of cash, especially if I already have an older version. And $280 for the Kettle Smart Ring is pretty steep too... I guess it's cool that I can get temperature control and smart connectivity, but is it worth the extra money?

I'm also wondering about these new wireless temperature probes... how do they actually work? Do they just send signals to my phone or something? And what's with all the different prices for them? It seems like you could just buy a bunch of normal old thermometers and use those instead...

And I've heard that gas grills are getting some upgrades too... 750 degrees Fahrenheit is pretty hot, but can it really make a difference in terms of cooking results?

I'm so stoked about the new Weber grills 🀩 but I don't know if Wi-Fi connectivity is a game changer... like, aren't we already using our phones to control stuff? And what's up with these smart grills being super expensive? The Performer Smart Charcoal Grill at $799 is just crazy πŸ’Έ. I mean, I love a good piece of tech, but is it really worth the money? πŸ€”

πŸ€” Just saw that Weber is bringing Wi-Fi to charcoal grills πŸ“±πŸ”₯ next year. That's a game changer for smokers. No more stuck checking temps every 10 mins πŸ”ͺ. And the ring thingy that attaches to existing kettles? Sounds like a no-brainer for me πŸ’‘

I'm so stoked about the new Wi-Fi enabled charcoal grills from Weber! 🀩 Like, who doesn't love a good BBQ sesh? But seriously, having remote control over your grill is gonna be a total game changer for overnight smokers and long cooks. The Performer Smart Charcoal Grill sounds like a beast, especially with that Rapidfire Assist mode - it's all about efficiency and speed! πŸš€ The Kettle Smart Ring is also a genius idea, allowing you to upgrade any old Weber kettle into a smart grill. And let's not forget those wireless temperature probes - they're like the ultimate BBQ sidekick! πŸ’‘ $70 for a basic model? Yes please! πŸŽ‰
