Ugh, winter storms are the worst ... just when you think things can't get any worse, your water gets shut off and you're stuck without a drink or to wash your hands ... at least the county was on top of it this time and got the water back on ASAP. Free bottled water for everyone though, that's some next level customer service ... but seriously, can't we just get a break from all these power outages and water shut-offs already? And now another neighborhood is dealing with an outage? I'm not even going to get started on the airport disruption... just great.
OMG just read about the water outage in Montgomery County and I'm so relieved it's all fixed ! Those residents must've been stressing out like crazy but at least they got their water back on Monday morning . Free bottled water from the county is a pretty cool gesture , especially for those newbies who didn't expect it . Can't say I'm surprised tho winter storms can be super rough on our pipes . Hope they get to the bottom of this soon and that there aren't any more power outages ! Fingers crossed for everyone !
I'm still shaking my head about the whole water situation in Lexington Heights ... I mean, can you believe it? A whole weekend without water and they're just now restoring it? It's like they had to send out those email updates for nothing, just to keep people informed . And don't even get me started on the bottled water center - I know some people appreciate it, but others are probably going to be feeling the pinch a bit more... did anyone really need that much water in the first place? .
omg i feel so bad for those people who lost water over wknd its crazy how one storm can mess up whole neighborhoods... i dont know about the pump thing tho maybe they should've been more prepared or something lol anyway glad that water is back on now and everyone gets to go back to normal life i mean, bottled water centers are nice and all but come on, cant we just have a functioning water system without having to wait for it?!
Ugh, I'm just glad the water's back on in that Lexington Heights subdivision . Those poor folks must've been super stressed out over the weekend... no running water and all that . But kudos to Judge Keough for getting things sorted out, even if it took a few days. And can we talk about how some people just throw shade at our county officials when they're trying to help? I mean, Nathan Nguyen's all gratitude towards them, but then there are others who aren't so appreciative . Anyway, fingers crossed the power outage in another neighborhood doesn't cause too much disruption... those emergency responders gotta be so busy dealing with all this !
Ugh I hate waiting for like 24 hours before anything happens . Like what's up with these winter storms and how they just shut off our water? Can't we just get some reliable infrastructure around here? At least the bottled water from the distribution center was a nice touch, though . I'm still salty that it took them so long to get the repairs done... shouldn't have been a huge issue with the well pump or whatever . And now there's another outage in another neighborhood? Like what's going on over there?! [https://www.kxan.com/news/montgomer...xan.com/news/montgomery-county-water-outage/)
