Video shows hulking stand-up comic punch woman in the face outside Hollywood comedy club

A stand-up comedian's alter ego turns violent in shocking Hollywood melee. A video recently surfaced of a towering comedian, Corey Holcomb, punching a female comic, Cristina Patyne, in the face outside a popular comedy club in Los Angeles.

According to eyewitnesses, Holcomb was involved in an altercation with Patyne, who appeared to be shouting at him before he lost his temper and unleashed a violent assault. The clip shows a group of onlookers rushing towards Holcomb and eventually tackling him to the ground as bystanders tried to intervene.

Patyne has since filed a battery report with the Los Angeles Police Department, but authorities have yet to take action against Holcomb. Sources claim that the incident was the result of a months-long feud between the two comedians, which started in July 2024 when Holcomb allegedly made threatening comments about Patyne.

In one particularly disturbing remark, Holcomb said he would "super sock" her, which escalated tensions between the two and ultimately led to the violent confrontation. Despite the incident being widely reported, neither Holcomb nor his representatives have commented on the matter, while the Hollywood Improv club where the altercation took place has chosen not to address it.

The shocking footage of Holcomb's outburst raises serious questions about the pressures of maintaining a public persona and the consequences of letting emotions get the better of us.

🀯 this whole thing is just wild. I mean, Corey Holcomb was like a superhero on stage but then he turns into a total psycho off stage? πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ it's crazy how one minute you're killing it with your jokes and the next you're losing your cool and physically assaulting someone. And what really blows my mind is that no one in his team or management is owning up to this behavior, like "oh yeah, Corey's just a misunderstood genius" πŸ™„ no, dude, he's a human being who needs to work on his emotional regulation skills. This whole thing raises some serious red flags about the mental health of celebrities and the pressure they're under to maintain their public image. it's time for some accountability! πŸ’―

omg u guys i cant even 😱 i mean idk what's more wild is that this guy has been making fun of ppl for years on stage but now he loses his cool in real life 🀯 like what's good Corey Holcomb? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ i feel bad 4 Cristina Patyne tho she sounds like she just wanted to have a convo with him and now she's dealing w/ physical harm πŸ’” i'm all about promoting positivity and kindness especially in the comedy world where ppl should be uplifting each other not tearing each other down 🀝

OMG 🀯😱 this is soooo worrying πŸ€•!!! I mean, comedians are supposed to be funny πŸ˜‚ but not at the expense of others' safety 😨! Corey Holcomb needs some serious help πŸ‘πŸ’ͺ, like anger management classes or something πŸ™. And why isn't he saying sorry? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Not cool at all πŸ˜’! This whole thing is just super frustrating 😑 and it makes me think about how hard it must be to maintain a public persona while dealing with all these emotions πŸ’”. We need more empathy and kindness in the entertainment industry πŸŒˆπŸ’–, not less 🚫. Can't we all just get along? πŸ€πŸ»πŸ™

OMG, this is so crazy 😱! I mean, Corey Holcomb is like my favorite comedian, but how can someone who makes people laugh all the time turn into a total savage? 🀯 It's like, I get it, we've all had bad days and lost our cool, but to actually punch someone in the face? No thanks! 😷

I think this just goes to show that even in the entertainment industry, there are still real-life consequences to dealing with stress and pressure. And yeah, making threatening comments isn't a good way to resolve conflicts either πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ. It's like, communication is key, you know? Maybe Holcomb should've just talked to Cristina about it instead of resorting to violence πŸ’β€β™€οΈ.

I'm kinda surprised that no one has said anything from Holcomb or the club about this whole thing... does anyone even care about what happens after the show? πŸ€” I mean, I'd wanna know if someone in my crew did something like that. Anyway, gotta give a big thumbs down to Corey right now πŸ‘Ž

omg this is so messed up!!! 🀯 like i feel bad for Cristina Patyne she was just being her awesome self and Corey Holcomb loses it πŸ’β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‘ what's even more disturbing is that he said "super sock" lol what even is that supposed to mean? sounds like some made-up nonsense πŸ˜‚ but seriously though, this kind of behavior needs to be called out. comedians are supposed to be funny and light-hearted, not violent πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ. and the fact that no one's saying anything about it? wild 🚫

This is just crazy 🀯! I mean, Corey Holcomb is like my favorite comedian... but then I see this video and it's like whoa, that's not him at all 😱! I get why he said some stuff about Cristina Patyne, people can be so petty and holier than thou online. But a physical fight? That's just wild πŸ€ͺ. I hope she's okay from the assault... but also, why hasn't Holcomb said anything about it yet? Doesn't that kinda say something? Like, we see what you're made of when it comes to your comedy career πŸ˜’. And I'm just wondering if the whole "super sock" thing was a joke or if he really meant it... either way, it's not funny anymore πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ.

😱🀯 this is so not cool Corey Holcomb's ego went from funny man to violent psycho like what happened to his head πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ? months of beef with Cristina Patyne and it all comes down to a super sock threat πŸ˜‚πŸ‘£... like dude calm down πŸ’¨ the pressure of being in the public eye is crazy and sometimes people just can't handle it 🀯 the Hollywood Improv club should've spoken up about this, it's not fair to Patyne πŸ‘Ž
