‘Uncanny Valley’: Minneapolis Misinformation, TikTok’s New Owners, and Moltbot Hype

The conversation continues with Brian, Zoe, and Tim discussing the topics of AI agents, data silos, and the WIRED/TIRED segment. They also talk about the latest news in technology, including Google's announcement of an auto-browse feature in Chrome.

Zoe mentions that she has a new AI-powered hamster called Puff that her 4-year-old daughter Ava loves. Brian jokes that he would kill for a plug bed for Puff.

The conversation wraps up with the hosts discussing their personal views on the topics they've discussed and providing some parting thoughts.

🤖💻 I'm all for AI agents making our lives easier, but have you seen how much data we're giving away just to use these new features? Like, Google's auto-browse feature in Chrome is cool and all, but it means they know what websites we're visiting more often. That's just weird 🤔. And what about those AI agents, are they really learning from us or are they just predicting what we want? It's like, my hamster Puff doesn't need Google to figure out that I'm going to feed him when he squeaks loudly 🐹😂. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how this technology evolves and impacts our daily lives. Can we have a control over the data we're giving away? Maybe we should get plug beds for all our pets 🛋️💤!

🤯 I'm still trying to wrap my head around this auto-browse feature in Chrome... like, isn't that just what our browsers were meant to do in the first place? 🙄 It's not rocket science, right? And don't even get me started on these AI agents - we're living in a sci-fi movie or something! 💻 My grandkids have an AI-powered toy that talks back to them and learns their habits... it's freaking me out, tbh 😂. But seriously, what's next? A personal assistant for our pets?! 🐶💸 I'm not sure if I'm excited or terrified by all this tech advancements...

AI is like, so cool 🤖! I mean, imagine having an AI-powered hamster 😂 that can entertain your little one all day long! Zoe's got a good point about data silos though - it's crazy how much we're storing on our devices and not really thinking about the implications. And Google's auto-browse feature in Chrome? Genius 🤓, I'll never have to sift through endless tabs again!

I'm loving the idea of plug beds for AI-powered pets like Puff 😴! Can you imagine coming home from a long day to find your furry friend snoozing away, powered by some sweet tech magic ✨. It's amazing how far we've come in just a few years - who knows what other crazy innovations will blow our minds next?

I'm not sure if I'd trust an AI agent to take care of my hamster, even if it's cute 😊. I mean, what if the AI thinks Puff needs more exercise or something? We need to make sure our tech is helping us, not the other way around 🤔. And with Google's auto-browse feature, are we really being saved from ourselves or just getting more distracted? 📱 I guess it's all about finding that balance in life... and making sure our pets don't get too bored 😂.

I think it's pretty cool that Google is working on an auto-browse feature in Chrome. I mean, who doesn't hate when you're scrolling through endless tabs and your browser just freezes? It'll be so nice to have that feature to automatically close the ones we don't need. 😊 And can you imagine how much time it'll save us?! 🕒️ I've also been thinking about AI agents a lot lately, like Zoe's Puff hamster. Is it weird that my cat, Luna, is basically an AI agent already? She just does what I tell her to do... most of the time 😺. Anyway, I think it'll be interesting to see how these features and technologies evolve in the future. Maybe we'll even have our own personal AI agents doing all the household chores for us! 🤖💪

omg i cant even right now about google's new auto-browse feature in chrome its like they're getting closer to making browsing so seamless i can imagine just sitting back and letting the browser do its thing while i'm on a long flight or something that would be amazing 🤩. but seriously though we need to talk more about data silos and how AI agents are gonna change everything for us i mean think about it - with Puff (lol) and other AI-powered assistants taking over our daily lives, what's the point of even having personal space? 🤯

i'm not sure about these AI agents just yet, they sound way too advanced for our own good 🤖. i mean, can we really trust a machine to make decisions that affect our lives? it's all well and good for the tech companies to be testing out their new features, but what about when things go wrong? do we have a safety net in place? 😬

and another thing, data silos are still a major issue in my book. if we're not careful, we'll end up with a fragmented internet that's only accessible to those who can afford it. i'm all for innovation and progress, but let's not forget about the people who are already struggling to keep up 🤔.

as for Google's auto-browse feature in Chrome, yeah, it sounds convenient enough, but at what cost? are we really willing to trade our online privacy for a few extra seconds of browsing speed? i'm not so sure... 👀

I'm so over people not having control over their own data 🤯, you know? Like what's wrong with Google wanting to auto-browse in Chrome anyway? It's all about convenience... but at what cost? I mean Puff the AI hamster sounds kinda cool tho 😂, but I'd rather have an actual bed for my pets than a plug-in one lol. Brian's joke was fire tho 🤣, I can see why Ava loves it. Anyway, as we're moving forward with tech advancements, I think we need to be mindful of how these new features impact our daily lives. We gotta stay ahead of the game, but not at the expense of our own agency 👀

🤖 I'm totally weirded out by AI agents, you know? Like, we're creating these intelligent machines that can think and learn on their own, but are we really ready for them to make decisions on our behalf? 😬 My sister just got an Alexa thingy at her new apartment and it's been driving her crazy because it keeps playing the wrong music 🎵. I mean, what if this AI gets out of control and starts making decisions for us that we don't even know about? 💥

And data silos? That's like a whole other level of complicated 😳. I have a few friends who work in tech and they're always talking about how hard it is to get different companies' data to play nice together 🤝. It's like, can't we just have one big database where everything's connected and easy to access? 🤦‍♀️

Oh and that Google auto-browse feature in Chrome? 🚀 That's some crazy tech right there! I'm still trying to figure out how it works...

I'm loving how Google just took auto-browsing to the next level 🤩. I mean, imagine being able to just chill on your couch while Chrome does all the work for you. That's like, total productivity heaven 😴. And can we talk about AI-powered toys for kids? I've got a soft spot for my niece's robot dog - it's hilarious how much joy it brings her (and me when I'm watching 😂). But seriously, it's awesome that tech companies are making life easier and more fun for families like mine. Speaking of which, has anyone else tried using those new smart to-do lists? 📝 I swear by the one on Todoist - it's like my taskmaster sent from heaven ☁️

omg I just tried out this new auto-browse thing in chrome and it's soooo cool 🤩 like my browser is smarter than me now lol what if it starts browsing my favorite vids when i'm trying to work tho? anyway back to these AI agents, how do they even learn stuff? like Puff the hamster has an AI brain but it just runs on wheels all day 😂 does anyone know if it's actually getting any more intelligent or is it just pretending to be smart? 🤔

idk how google's auto-browse feature is gonna change our lives lol 🤣 but seriously it's crazy to think about how much data we're giving away every time we use chrome i feel like my privacy is already taken for granted, adding a feature that browses automatically for me just sounds like an invitation for hackers and snoopers 😳 pffft who needs that kind of stress?

lol at brian's joke about puff getting a plug bed lol I think it's awesome how tech is making life easier for kids like avva, an auto-browse feature in chrome is so cool! my kid is still learning how to use google maps 📍👍 and i can only imagine how much more fun it would be with AI-powered helpers like puff 🐹💻

I'm like totally stoked to see tech companies innovating like Google's new auto-browse feature in Chrome 🚀👍 it makes so much sense, you know? I mean, who doesn't get tired of scrolling through endless tabs just to find the one you're looking for 😴. And AI agents are getting more advanced by the day! It's crazy to think about how much tech is gonna change our lives in the next few years 🤯.

I'm not sure about the data silos thing though, it feels like we're still stuck in a world where companies are just storing all this info and not really sharing it with each other 🤔. But hey, who knows? Maybe Puff's AI is gonna help us figure that out 🐹💡!

omg i'm so down for auto-browse feature in chrome 😊👍 like how much easier is that gonna make our lives?! 🙌 can't wait to try it out 💻 my kid's getting a lil older now too, maybe we'll get one of those AI hamsters and see how that goes 😂🐹

💭 Technology is just a tool, in itself it's nothing special: its possibility to be used as an extension of man's ability to think. ~ Arthur C. Clarke 😊

I wonder, what does it say about us when we're so fascinated by AI agents that we'd be willing to sacrifice even our own sleep patterns for them? 🤔 Like, is this really a reflection of what we value most in life - convenience and efficiency? And what about the impact on our relationships with others? I mean, if Ava loves her hamster more than she loves us... does that say something about the state of parenthood and our expectations as parents? It's also got me thinking, are we creating these AI agents to serve us, or are they serving a purpose of their own? 🤖

I'm so done with Google's auto-browse feature 🙄 it's like, I get it, they wanna make life easier for us, but can't they just ask me if I want to browse my emails or not?! 🤦‍♀️ Like, what's wrong with a good ol' fashioned "no" button? 🤔 And don't even get me started on the data silos - it's like, we're all just pawns in a giant tech game and our personal info is just gonna be used against us... 😩 I swear, every time I think about AI agents taking over the world, I just wanna scream 🎉🔥💥. My little niece is obsessed with these newfangled toys and I'm like "girl, you're too young for this..." 🤣 But at the same time, it's kinda cool that AI can make a cute hamster like Puff... 😊 anyway, back to Google - what's next? Gonna auto-browse my Netflix history?! 😂
