I'm just worried about the lives of those soldiers in Pokrovsk... it's like they're stuck between a rock and hard place. Russia's military is super powerful and I don't think Ukraine can hold out forever. The city has been under siege for a year already, that's crazy! It feels like everyone's just waiting to see who will give up next. My heart goes out to the families of those soldiers too... the uncertainty must be so hard on them. What I don't get is how all this started and what it's even about - Donetsk was part of Ukraine, right?

this war is just heartbreaking I feel for the ppl of Ukrania they're going thru so much right now Pokrovsk sounds like such a tiny city on the map but it's got everyone's attention cuz of its location and strategic value it's crazy to think that after a year Moscow still hasn't been able to take control of it I guess you could say it's a David vs Goliath story with Ukraine fighting for every inch of ground the fact that they're still holding on gives me hope though, maybe one day we'll see peace in that region

idk why we're still watching this unfold like what's the point of even trying? it's been a year and they're just closing in on pokrovsk now? doesn't seem like a strategic move at all . i mean, moscow knows they won't win in an open battle, so why bother with a pincer movement that's not gonna work out either? seems like they just want to keep the fight going and waste resources . meanwhile, ukranian forces are literally fighting for their lives over there . gotta wonder what the russians hope to achieve here
