The thing is, I'm not buying into the whole "blatant lies" vibe from Shapiro. I mean, come on, a memoir's gotta be edited somehow, right? Maybe Harris was trying to spin things in her favor, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's lying out loud. It's all about perspective, you know? And can we talk about how messy the whole situation is? One minute Shapiro's calling out Harris for being dishonest, the next he's backing down and saying sorry?
At least he owned up to it, I guess.What really got me, though, was his take on the Democratic Party needing to reconnect with disaffected voters. Like, yeah, that's a valid point. But can we also say that Trump's been doing some pretty effective politicking in those communities? It's not like Shapiro's just trying to one-up him or anything. He genuinely wants to help people who feel left behind.
I think what's really at play here is party internal politics, and how some folks are gonna stir up drama to get ahead.
But hey, at least Shapiro's still committed to the cause, even if he's not afraid to speak his mind. That's gotta count for something, right?
