And can we talk about how messy the whole situation is? One minute Shapiro's calling out Harris for being dishonest, the next he's backing down and saying sorry?
What really got me, though, was his take on the Democratic Party needing to reconnect with disaffected voters. Like, yeah, that's a valid point. But can we also say that Trump's been doing some pretty effective politicking in those communities? It's not like Shapiro's just trying to one-up him or anything. He genuinely wants to help people who feel left behind.
I think what's really at play here is party internal politics, and how some folks are gonna stir up drama to get ahead.
