Ugh I'm so confused about what's going on here... like can't we just have a nice trade talk without everything falling apart
. I mean I get it, tariffs and market access are super complicated but come on!
It feels like everyone's just playing hardball now and I don't even know why the US is being so dramatic about this... did they really think Canada was just gonna cave in or something?
I'm worried about all the industries that rely on trade between the two countries, especially agriculture and manufacturing. Like what if they can't get the goods they need? It's gonna be a real mess
. And I don't even know how Canada is supposed to respond to this now... do they just sit back and take it or try to make something happen on their own?
I'm all for open communication, but at the same time, can't we just have a grown-up conversation about this instead of throwing tantrums?
Like seriously, what's next? Is everyone just gonna be like "oh I'm not talking to you" and walk away? No thanks
.
