Ugh, this is so not good . I mean, what's the government even thinking? They're basically handing over our security for some "trade deals". Newsflash: if they think China's gonna come to their aid, they've been watching too many Bond movies . And 208 secret rooms in that embassy? That's just a recipe for disaster . I'm not buying the whole "it's just planning" thing from Pennycook either . They're clearly aware of the risks and are just rolling over to appease China. Meanwhile, our exports are tanking and they're more worried about getting some backroom deal done? Give me a break .

this is getting out of hand, what if they actually use those cables to spy on us? like, how would we even know it's happening? I don't think our security is being taken seriously here... and yeah, it makes no sense to lift trade restrictions now that exports are tanking. China's got some serious leverage over us right now.

Wow ! This is so crazy, I don't think I've ever heard of an embassy having that many secret rooms before... like what even would they use for? And demolishing the wall between their cables and ours? That's a huge security risk, can you imagine all those emails and financial data being exposed? It's just not worth it, especially with exports plummeting already...
