19 years old... can't believe it Tommie Jakes was such a talented young jockey, had so much potential and already won 59 races in just three years! It's heartbreaking to think that he'll never get to ride another horse or experience the thrill of winning again. His passing is definitely a shock to the racing community, but I guess it's a reminder to appreciate every moment we have with our loved ones .
