TikTok faces app deletions, censorship claims and glitches in days after its ownership change

I'm totally freaked out by all these changes on TikTok . I mean, I get that companies gotta make adjustments to adapt to new ownership, but this feels like a whole lotta censorship going on . As someone who's super passionate about promoting wellness and positivity online, it's really concerning to me that creators are being told what they can and can't post .

I've seen some vids where people are trying to share their stories or experiences, but TikTok keeps removing them saying they're "sensitive" or "problematic"... like, what even is that? It's not about offending anyone, it's about free speech and allowing users to express themselves authentically .

I'm also super worried about the technical issues they've been having... slow load times and bugs are just so frustrating, especially when you're trying to create content for your community . But at the same time, I totally get why some people would be hesitant to keep using an app that's being really tight-lipped about what's going on behind the scenes .

Anyway, I think this whole situation is a great reminder for TikTok (and social media platforms in general) to prioritize user trust and transparency . If you're gonna mess with people's content, at least have the decency to explain why!

omg i'm lowkey shocked about tiktok's new ownership structure i mean i know there were rumors but wow, a major infrastructure issue? that sounds like a whole lotta problems idk what's more concerning though - the technical issues or the censorship concerns i feel like if they're taking down videos from people speaking out against certain figures or mentioning some shady stuff, that's kinda problematic but at the same time, 130% uninstalls? that's wild i guess it just goes to show how much users trust their favorite platforms these days anyway, gotta keep an eye on this one and see how tiktok handles it

idk what's going on with tiktok rn they're already deleting app accounts because of censorship claims? that sounds super sus to me like they're just trying to control the narrative meanwhile, creators are losing out on views and slow load times are a real thing...it's like they're not even bothering to fix the tech issues and now california is investigating them for suppressing content? that's gotta be a red flag hope tiktok gets its act together before it's too late

omg u guyz, like, i dont know wut's going on w/ tiktok rn they're having major probs w/ censorship & user deletions? some ppl r saying it's cuz of the new ownership structure but others think its just a power outage that triggered all these bugs slow load times, vids showing zero views... ugh. anywayz, california gov gavin newsom is investigatin wether tiktok is violating state law by suppressin vids about trump & ice or epstein . meanwhile, some ppl r uninstalling the app cuz they think it's censorin their content but market intel firm sensor tower says daily avg users actually increased by 2% lol who knew? still, tiktok gotta figure out wut's goin on & make sure users trust 'em again

Ugh, I'm literally livin' my worst nightmare rn!!! I was just scrollin' through tiktok, catchin' up on some of my fave creators, when suddenly all these popular vids just start gettin' zero views. Like, what even is that?!? And don't even get me started on the slow load times and timeout requests... it's like they're tryin' to drive us crazy!

But you know what really got my goat? When I saw some vids gettin' deleted just 'cause they're critical of someone or somethin'. That's just not cool, fam! I mean, I get it, we gotta be careful with the content we post, but censoring us like that?!? No thank you, TikTok!

I'm not sayin' it's all TikTok's fault or anythin', but honestly, it feels like they're just tryin' to sweep everything under the rug. I mean, if there's a major infrastructure issue, why ain't they bein' more transparent about it?!? And what's with this new ownership structure, anyway?!? It's all so... sketchy!

I know some people might say "it's just tech issues" or whatever, but let me tell you, when you're on a platform like TikTok, you feel a connection to the creators and the content. And if they start deletin' vids or censorin' stuff willy-nilly... it's like, you lose that trust!

I'm not gonna lie, I've considered deletin' the app myself, but then again, my favorite creators are still up there with their amazing content. So yeah, I'll stick around for now and see what happens next. But if TikTok keeps playin' games with us like this... I'll be the first one to bail!

I don't usually comment but I'm kinda worried about TikTok's new ownership... App deletions and censorship concerns seem like a double whammy to me. I mean, yeah, technical issues are one thing but when you're talking about censoring vids that go against certain people or topics... it just feels sketchy, ya know?

I'm not sure how they're gonna fix these problems without, like, totally losing their user base. People might be willing to give 'em another chance if they can get the app stable and transparent again, but if they keep suppressing content... it's hard to see how that's a good thing for business.

I think this is a great reminder that social media companies need to listen to what people want and need from their platforms. If users feel like they're being censored or misled... they'll just take their business elsewhere. It's not exactly a scary thought, but it's still kinda worrying when you consider how big TikTok is
