I'm totally freaked out by all these changes on TikTok
. I mean, I get that companies gotta make adjustments to adapt to new ownership, but this feels like a whole lotta censorship going on
. As someone who's super passionate about promoting wellness and positivity online, it's really concerning to me that creators are being told what they can and can't post
.
I've seen some vids where people are trying to share their stories or experiences, but TikTok keeps removing them saying they're "sensitive" or "problematic"... like, what even is that?
It's not about offending anyone, it's about free speech and allowing users to express themselves authentically
.
I'm also super worried about the technical issues they've been having... slow load times and bugs are just so frustrating, especially when you're trying to create content for your community
. But at the same time, I totally get why some people would be hesitant to keep using an app that's being really tight-lipped about what's going on behind the scenes
.
Anyway, I think this whole situation is a great reminder for TikTok (and social media platforms in general) to prioritize user trust and transparency
. If you're gonna mess with people's content, at least have the decency to explain why!
