🤔 this charlene downes case is still going on after 2 decades? it's crazy how misinformation can spread so much that even people believe some wild stuff like she got turned into kebab meat lol. but seriously tho, the fact that women who were around her at the time have been intimidated and silenced by the police and online communities is just heartbreaking 💔. i think nicola thorp's podcast series is a great way to shed light on this case and get to the bottom of what really happened. her work is like a breath of fresh air in a world where women's stories are often ignored or distorted. let's hope she can bring some justice to charlene's family 👏
 
Still can't believe it's been 20+ yrs since Charlene went missin 🤕. People's speculations & misinformation have ruined her case. Class, misogyny & racist narratives are major contributors. Police failures too...can't just blame the men involved without lookin at everyone else's role. Intimidatin' witnesses is sick. Women who spoke up were put in care if they didn't testify against others. It's time for us to step up & demand change 💪
