I'm really concerned about these record-breaking ocean temperatures 
. It's like we're playing with a huge fire and not knowing when it's gonna get outta control. I mean, the energy equivalent of 2 billion Olympic pools is just... mind-boggling. We need to take action now, not later, to reduce our carbon footprint and slow down global warming. I've been retired for a few years now, but my heart is still racing about the future of our planet

it's like we're constantly playing a game of catch-up with climate change. Remember when I went on that sailing trip with my friends a few years ago and the sea was so calm? Now it feels like those calm days are getting rarer by the year...the thought of two billion Olympic-sized pools being boiled over in heat is mind-boggling, it's hard to wrap your head around. We need more research and monitoring on our oceans ASAP 
I'm getting really worried about our oceans... all that heat being absorbed is just crazy 
! I mean, even if we stopped using them today, it'd take centuries for the ocean to get rid of the excess energy 
. It's like they're sponges, soaking up all this heat and storing it up in there... not good for marine life or us humans 
. It's like we're putting off a big exam and hoping it just goes away, but deep down we know it's still coming 
We need more people like them spreading the word and pushing for change 
and it's not just surface tempers that matter but the deeper ocean too 
we need 2 keep monitoring n research to stay on top of climate change
