They were always the heart of the original trilogy and it's crazy they never brought them back sooner! The fact that this new film is gonna ignore all the previous sequels is actually kinda refreshing, maybe we'll finally get a more authentic story told. I'm low-key hyped to see what Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett bring to the table with Radio Silence at the helm

This is gonna be so cool! I've missed Brendan Fraser as Rick O'Connell so much since The Mummy Returns. He and Rachel Weisz are meant to be together, it's like they were made for those roles. Revisiting the original storylines will definitely make this film feel more authentic. The fact that Universal is taking a different approach from the previous attempts at reviving the franchise is smart. They're not trying to reboot or rehash everything from before. This new direction might just bring back some of that old magic and make it fresh again!
