The long and winding road: Stuart Maconie on why our opinions about the Beatles keep changing

The Beatles - always good for a drama fest. Like, who needs a stable relationship when you've got fame and groupies, right? 🙄 I mean, I'm glad some new perspectives are coming out, like that "four narratives" thingy... it's like they're trying to get all the messy bits out in the open. And honestly, can't say I blame 'em. The more we learn about these guys, the more I realize how much of a mess their lives were (just kidding, Lennon and McCartney fans!). Seriously though, I'm just here for the juicy gossip, and it seems like scholars are delivering 🍯🎸

I think its kinda cool how our perception of the Beatles keeps changing like that 🤔. It shows we're still figuring them out even all these years later. I mean, they were a band that broke so many rules and pushed boundaries, it's no wonder their story is still being rewritten. The fact that new scholars are coming in with fresh perspectives is really exciting - it means we'll always be learning more about the Fab Four. And honestly, I think its good that we can see different sides of the band now, like how complex John and Paul's relationship was or how intense the other guys were feeling behind the scenes. It makes their music feel even more human, you know?
