omg i cant even imagine playing golf professionally lol its like soooo challenging u gotta be consistent with ur swing and practice all the time but roy mcilroy is actually a total inspiration he went from being an amateur to a pro in just a few years and then won all 4 majors at such a young age that's just crazy. i wish i could focus that much on something i love like golf

so its crazy thinking about how far roy mcilroy has come from being just another young golfer from northern ireland 
... i mean, six strokes ahead of tom lewis at the us open? that was like a game changer in itself 
and then to go on and win all four majors at such a young age? thats just insane 
. hes had his ups and downs with injuries and all but you cant deny the dedication he must have put in to get to where he is today 
... and what impresses me most is how he came back from that 2014 slump to win the us open again

he's had an amazing career, and to think about all the hard work he put in as a young kid just starting out in golf... that's truly inspiring 
I just learned that Roy McIlroy is one of the top golfers from Northern Ireland . I mean, can you believe he turned pro in 2008 and became a superstar just 3 years later? That's crazy! He won all four majors at such a young age - 22! I wish I had that kind of focus in school... I was always more interested in playing football with my mates . Anyway, it's awesome to see him still competing and winning major championships even after all the injuries he's had. That shows so much determination and mental toughness!
