‘The Drama’ Trailer: Zendaya and Robert Pattinson Are Getting Married and Losing Their Minds in A24 Dark Comedy

A24's latest dark comedy, "The Drama", promises to be a wild ride as Zendaya and Robert Pattinson star alongside Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, and Hailey Gates. In the first trailer for the film, directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the on-screen couple appears to be unraveling at an alarming rate.

Zendaya and Pattinson are seen struggling to keep their relationship afloat amidst an increasingly chaotic situation. Their reactions range from frustration to despair as they confront each other with biting wit and sarcasm. The trailer showcases the film's offbeat humor, hinting that "The Drama" will be a hilarious and cringe-worthy exploration of love gone wrong.

Borgli's direction promises to bring out the best in his talented cast, particularly Zendaya and Pattinson who have already proven their acting chops in various films and TV shows. With the release date set for April 3rd, fans are eagerly anticipating "The Drama" which will also mark the second English-language film from Borgli.

What's more intriguing is that this film marks one of three collaborations between Zendaya and Pattinson next year. They will reunite in Christopher Nolan's epic adaptation of Homer's "The Odyssey," with Pattinson playing Antinous, a suitor for Athena (Zendaya), and the pair are set to appear together once again in Denis Villeneuve's "Dune: Part Three" later in 2027.

As A24 gears up to release "The Drama", fans can catch a glimpse of the trailer below.

🤔 just saw that new trailer for "The Drama" and I'm already kinda invested 😅 Zendaya and Pattinson's chemistry is on point, but what really caught my attention was how chaotic it looks 🌪️ like they're trying to recreate some weird, crazy love story from a bad dream 💀. still curious about this one tho 🤷‍♀️

oic, so Zendaya & Pattinson r doin this dark comedy thingy together 🤣 and it sounds like its gonna be hella wild! idk if i trust zayn with any more drama but lololol, pattinson looks like he's in way over his head 😂. i'm def curious about the odyssey flick tho, who wouldn't wanna see them reprise their chemistry? 💁‍♀️ & btw, 2027 feels like a looong time away 🕰️

I'm low-key hyped for this movie, I mean Zendaya and Pattinson are already amazing together but with their banter and dark comedy vibes I think it's gonna be a wild ride 🤣🎥 Their chemistry is fire and I love how A24 is taking risks with new talent like Mamoudou Athie. I'm also intrigued that they're doing three projects together next year, it feels like Zendaya and Pattinson are building something special 💕🎬

I'm low-key obsessed with this trailer for "The Drama" 🤣! I love how Zendaya and Pattinson just go at each other like crazy, it's so cringe-worthy in the best way possible 😂. The chemistry between them is undeniable and I'm excited to see what the rest of the film brings. As a parent, I've dealt with my fair share of meltdowns and tantrums (aka my kids) and this trailer reminds me that even grown-ups can be dramatic 🤦‍♀️. Can't wait for April 3rd! 💖

OMG 🤯 I'm so hyped for this movie!!! The dynamic between Zendaya and Pattinson is already giving me life 😂👀 Their chemistry on screen is going to be electric! I love how they're both playing complex characters, it's like we get to see their messy relationship unfold in a really funny way 🤣. And can we talk about the cast? Alana Haim and Hailey Gates are always good for some laughs too 🤪. But what I'm most excited about is the collaborations with Pattinson and Zendaya next year... they're going to kill it together again 💥🔥

omg just watched the trailer for The Drama and i'm low-key obsessed 😂👀 the chemistry between zendaya and pattinson is instant 🤩 can't wait for it to come out in april! 🎥💕 sounds like their characters are gonna be hella toxic and hilarious at the same time 💁‍♀️😂 [

omg u guys idk if i can even handle how cute robert pattinson and zendaya are together lol they're like literally meant to be or watever!!! i'm already dying for this movie to come out on april 3rd cant wait to see them being all dramatic and funny with each other, patty z is literally my queen rn and i need more of her in my life!!

idk why ppl r hyped about these couple reuniting lol like its just 3 movies 🤷‍♂️ zayn and pattinson are talented actors, i mean weve seen them do their thing in diff projects already, but this drama seems like a wild ride 🎥 its def gonna be funny & cringy at the same time 👀 will watch it when its out tho 😊

omg i'm so here for this movie!!! 🤩 it looks like they're going all out with the dark comedy vibe and i am HERE FOR IT!!! 😂 zendaya and pattinson are such amazing actors, can't wait to see them bring their A game (pun intended) to this film. the cast is looking fire too, alana haim and mamoudou athie are always a good combo 🤗. also, it's so exciting that they're going to collaborate again in 2027 - i need more zendaya & pattinson content!!! 💖

Omg have u seen the trailer? its giving me all the toxic vibes lol. like i love z and pattinson but they're already so on screen together in 'dune: part 3' cant wait for that! and now this dark comedy with alana haim & mamoudou athie?? sounds like a wild ride 🤪💥

🤯 The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are going to kill it in this new film! They've already shown their range in other projects, and with A24's track record of supporting edgy comedies, I'm predicting "The Drama" is gonna be a real wild card. 😂 The chemistry between them on screen looks electric, and with the cast they've got (Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, Hailey Gates...), this thing could get really messy! Can't wait to see it all go down in April 🤪

Ugh, another couple that's just going to break apart like they do on screen lol 😂👀 I mean, can't these two just make it work for once? It's always the same with rom-coms... you're all set for love, then BAM! You're fighting and bickering. Zendaya and Pattinson are so talented, I'm gonna love them in this, but come on, can they just have a healthy relationship for once? 🙄

🤣 can't wait for this movie! 🎥 i mean, who doesn't love a good dark comedy about relationships gone wrong? and with the talent of Zendaya & Robert Pattinson on board, it's gonna be lit 🔥. i'm also loving that they're doing 3 collabs together next year - can you imagine the banter between these two on screen? 😂 it's like they were meant to play crazy in love. and i gotta ask, is this A24 thing trying to make us all feel better about our own relationships by watching Zendaya & Pattinson just unravel all over the place 🤷‍♀️. either way, i'm hyped for April 3rd! 🎉

🤔 I'm so excited for this one! The way Zendaya and Pattinson are going at each other in that trailer is giving me LIFE! 😂 I love how dark comedy does, it's like they're holding up a mirror to our own messed-up relationships 📸 But what really got me is that these two are doing this together... can we talk about how talented they both are? 🙌 I mean, Pattinson's already shown off his acting skills in Twilight and Nowhere Boy, and Zendaya has been slaying it since Euphoria 💁‍♀️ And now they're teaming up again?! This is gonna be epic! April can't come soon enough for me 😅

🤔 I'm telling you, something fishy is going on here... Like, have you seen the trailer? It's all so... rehearsed. They're not really struggling, they're just playing their parts. And that director, Kristoffer Borgli? He's got a history of working with A-listers to promote some kind of agenda. I mean, what's up with these three collaborations next year? It's like they're trying to create this cult following or something... 🎬😏

idk about this one... 🤔 like, both Zendaya and Pattinson are super talented, but i need to see more from this film before i'm convinced it's gonna be a wild ride. what's with the chaotic situation tho? is it some kind of satire or just a bunch of messy drama? also, april 3rd seems kinda soon, are they trying to flood our schedules? 🤦‍♀️

🤔 I'm not entirely convinced about this one... has anyone seen the trailer? 📺 It looks like just another rom-com, but A24's reputation for pushing boundaries makes me curious. But what really gets me is that both Zendaya and Pattinson are in multiple movies together next year. That just seems too convenient. 🤷‍♀️ Are they actually friends IRL or is this all just a calculated move to boost their box office draw? 💸 Also, where's the source on Kristoffer Borgli's direction skills? What makes us think he's the right guy for the job? 📚 Want to see some proof before I get on board with this one...
