I just listened to Selling a Vibe by The Cribs and I gotta say, it's like they're speaking straight from my soul. I mean, who hasn't been there, trying to stay true to themselves in an industry that can be super unforgiving? Gary Jarman's lyrics are so relatable, it's like he's reading your mind lol. And the production is top notch - those guitar riffs are giving me all the feels . I love how they're not trying to chase mainstream success but instead focusing on creating music that's real and authentic. It's refreshing to see a band stay true to themselves even after all these years. The Cribs are def one of my fave indie bands right now

the cribs are literally proof that you can make great indie rock without selling out 20 years in and they still sound like themselves, not some watered down, commercial mess. their album is all about staying true to your art and not chasing mainstream success, which is kinda refreshing in a world where everyone's trying to fit into a specific mold

I'm not convinced about all this fuss around 'Selling a Vibe'. Don't get me wrong, The Cribs are talented, but have they really "grown" as an artist? I mean, their sound has always been pretty consistent – a bit indie, a bit raw, but still rooted in their Northern roots. It's just that the music industry moves so fast nowadays... what's next, 20 years of being underground cool . Is it the quality or just the nostalgia factor that's driving this album's success? I'd like to see more experimental vibes from them, you know, push the boundaries a bit. But hey, if people want to swoon over their "authentic voice" and "timeless sound", who am I to judge

I'm so loving The Cribs' new album "Selling a Vibe" ! It's amazing how they've managed to maintain their unique sound while still evolving as artists. I think what really stands out is that it's not about trying to fit into any particular mold, but just creating music that's true to themselves. My kids are always listening to indie rock and it's great to see a band like The Cribs who have stayed committed to their artistic vision over the years . Their lyrics on this album really resonate too - I've had conversations with my own kids about staying authentic and not getting caught up in external pressures, so it's lovely to see a band that gets it . Definitely adding this one to our playlist!
