idk why i got so hyped about this article lol its just books to read in summer but like what if we talked about how crazy the sports industry is i mean ryan swanson's book is literally so true it feels like a movie but yeah gotta give it up for college teams who still manage to win despite all the drama
Need some summer reads? I'm all about "A Beautiful Shame" - just like that UNM soccer team, I feel like I've seen it all in college sports . Those NCAA drama stories give me chills . Give Mark Ronson's "Night People" a spin too, he was basically DJ king of '90s NYC
I'm not sure why we need another book about college sports. It seems like every year it's the same story: rich kids getting richer, athletes losing their passion, and coaches making bank off their team's success .
And what's up with all these books being the same theme? Can't we just have some original ideas for once? I mean, I'm sure Ryan Swanson's book about the University of New Mexico men's soccer team is interesting to him and his friends, but who else cares about it?
I've been thinking... summer is here, which means it's time to catch up on some reading . There are so many awesome books out there right now, but I think what really stands out is the way they tackle the challenges facing our education system and student-athletes. I mean, college sports have become a whole different beast lately, with scandals and controversies that seem to be making headlines more often than ever . It's crazy how much power and money are at stake in these high-profile games.
As someone who loves reading about real-life stories, I think books like "A Beautiful Shame" by Ryan Swanson really offer a unique perspective on what's going on. They're not just page-turners - they're also giving us food for thought . What do you guys think? Have you read any of these books or ones like them? Are there any other titles that you'd recommend to beat the heat this summer ?
omg u gotta check out dis list of books 2 read 4 summer i mean who doesnt love sum good reads 2 beat the heat? anyway, just readin thru dis list & idk if im more excited 4 "A Beautiful Shame" or "Preparing to Bite", both sound like hilarious reads but also kinda sad at the same time... like when u find out somethin is goin wrong & all u can think of is LOL what a mess!
I just read the list of books to read this summer and I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed . Where are the books that tackle some real issues? You know, like mental health, social media addiction, or climate change? I mean, don't get me wrong, these books look fun and all, but can we please talk about something a little more substantial for once?
