I'm not sure I get what's so special about holding onto someone who passed away 10 years ago . Don't get me wrong, David Bowie was an iconic figure and all that jazz , but it seems like some people are still clinging to the past instead of moving on . For me, music is supposed to bring people together in the present, not hold them back from experiencing new things . I mean, have these fans ever considered listening to newer artists or exploring different genres? It's like they're stuck in a time warp .
Still can't believe it's been 10 years since he passed away . Debbie Hilton's shrine is so dedicated to him, I'm kinda jealous . Can you imagine having that kind of passion and dedication? For a fan like Julian Furnival who got hooked at age 13, it's crazy how music can shape your life that much.
The thing that really gets me is how everyone has their own story to tell about Bowie. Like Astrid Ballhorn calling him the Beethoven of our day... that's deep . It shows you the impact he had beyond his music alone. But what I'm not sure about is how we're still gathering here 10 years later... don't get me wrong, it's amazing to see fans come together like this, but can't we just celebrate his life instead of mourning his passing?
its crazy how much of an impact dave bowie had even after all these years ... i mean, 10 yrs on from his passing & ppl are still gathering at the starman memorial in brixton he was definitely a trailblazer and left a lasting legacy that'll keep inspiring ppl for yrs to come. but, gotta say, some of those songs can be pretty emotional listening back - like blackstar, for example ... it's like u're hearing him go through his own mortality & it's quite somethin anyway, it's heartwarming 2 see how much he meant 2 ppl like debbie hilton and julian furnival, who've been fans since they were kids
I'm so done with these Bowie tributes already . I mean, I get it, he was a legend and all that jazz... but 10 years after he died? Come on! It feels like people are still trying to cling to the past instead of moving forward. And don't even get me started on how everyone's always saying "he was a genius" and "his legacy will live on"... yeah, okay... sure. How about we talk about some actual talent that's been making music in the last decade?
I FEEL SO SAD THINKING ABOUT DAVID BOWIE HE WAS SUCH A GENIUS AND TRULY ONE OF A KIND I MEAN WHO ELSE COULD JUST TRANSFORM INTO ZIGGY STARDUST AND MAKE MUSIC THAT STILL MAKES US ALL GO WEAK IN THE KNEES TODAY? HIS LEGACY LIVES ON AND IT'S AMAZING TO SEE HOW MUCH HE STILL MEANS TO SO MANY PEOPLE AFTER 10 YEARS GONE
