I'm still trying to finish Dune: Part Two after watching Dune back in 21... it's a whole different level of epic . Been meaning to check out Barbie, but have heard mixed reviews about it. Documentary fans will love the ones on MoviePass and Reality Winner - those look intense . Noticing there's no new content from Game of Thrones or Westworld? Those are some of my faves... when is HBO Max gonna bring back more of these shows?!
OMG u guys need to watch reality winner it's like soooo good!!! i wasnt expecting it to be that emotional but it hit me right in the feels all the beauty and the bloodshed is also dope i loved the cinematography and the story behind it and have u seen quad gods? its like this crazy documentary series about online gaming but u know what would make hbo max even better? more indie movies lol they need to bring in some newer films not just blockbusters all the time
Ugh, what's with the random docu series all over the place? Can't they just group them by genre or something? And why do we need to see every single one of these docs on the homepage? It's like they're trying to clutter up my feed. I mean, sure, they might be good shows, but can't I discover them myself?
And what's with the movies? Dune and Barbie are fine, I guess, but Part Two is just a sequel... how many times do we need to see the same story retold? And don't even get me started on the weird "Reality" title. Is it some kind of docu-series or a movie or what? It's all so confusing.
Can't they just organize their content better? Like, put all the movies together and all the docs together? Is that too much to ask?
I just saw this list and I'm kinda disappointed . Don't get me wrong, I love some of these shows like Dune and Barbie, but what's with all the drama documentaries on HBO Max? MoviePass, MovieCrash, Quad Gods... it feels like they're all just promoting consumerism and the struggles of being an artist . Where are the shows about social justice, climate change or economic inequality? I want to see some content that sparks conversation and inspires action . Reality Winner is a great documentary, but why isn't there more of that on HBO Max? It feels like they're missing out on the opportunity to show their audience that there's more to entertainment than just mindless escapism .
I'm so over these big budget flicks . Dune is all hype and I didn't even find it that engrossing. And don't even get me started on Barbie, who thought that was a good idea? It's just another shallow blockbuster trying to make a quick buck . But hey, at least Reality (the documentary) seems interesting, I'll give them that . And I'm actually really looking forward to All the Beauty and the Bloodshed, I've heard great things about it . Can't wait to see what else they have in store for us on HBO Max, maybe some real thought-provoking stuff .
