Ugh, I'm so sick of these "fitness" threads that pop up every year

... like, I get it, people want to exercise and be healthy, but can't we just talk about how frustrating it is to try and find a good workout app that actually works for me?

I mean, I've tried so many of those mobile apps and they're all just so repetitive and boring. And don't even get me started on the fitness trackers... who thought it was a good idea to strap a device to your wrist that tells you how much exercise you need to do every day?

It's like, hello, I'm trying to work out here, not be monitored by Big Brother!
But anyway, back to the article... I think what really gets me is when they say we just need to "identify our personal passions and goals"

. Like, I know that sounds super cliché, but hear me out... it's actually kind of hard to figure out what those are when all you have is a bunch of generic fitness advice and Instagram influencers telling you what to do. Can't we just have a platform where people can share their actual experiences and struggles with exercise and health? You know, without all the fluff and BS?
