I'm so bummed out about this ... Super Sentai has been such an iconic part of my childhood! I remember watching it with my siblings all the time, we'd stay up late trying to catch every single episode of our favorite show. 50 years is a long time, but it's crazy how quickly things can change. I wonder what they'll do next? Maybe Toei will reboot the series and bring back some new heroes . But if they're not going for that, a soft reboot with a new name or format could be kinda cool too... at least we know that young actors like Sora Ishii (Gozyuger) have already been given a chance to shine in this show
just saw this and it's a real downer... been following Super Sentai since I was a kid, loved the nostalgia and excitement of each new series 50 years is a big milestone, and now it might all be coming to an end can't believe they're citing budgetary concerns as the reason, feels like such a shame considering how iconic it's become in Japan at least the idea of a soft reboot is something, but what if they mess up?
ugh, can you believe this?! after 50 years, the king of japan's tokusatsu franchises is done? i remember watching gorenger when i was a kid and now it's just gonna stop? what about all the fans who grew up with this stuff? there's gotta be more to the story than just budget cuts... maybe toei's just trying to revamp the brand, get some new blood in... or maybe they're just out of ideas idk, but i'm gonna miss watching new sentai shows .
