man this is so inspiring he's like a total legend but not just because of the olympics... he's using his platform to make a real difference i mean, the fact that he's still got the energy to do charity events like the tour de four is just amazing and his story about steve peters' pink elephant technique is mind blown i'm no expert but it sounds like a really powerful tool for dealing with adversity... anyway, can't wait to see how this all plays out
Man I feel so bad for Chris Hoy, been through some tough times already with Sarra's MS and now this... but at the same time you gotta respect him for using his platform like this , it's not easy to talk about your health issues in public, especially when you're going through something terminal. The fact that he's raising awareness and funds for cancer charities is really admirable, it just goes to show that even in the darkest of times, we can find a way to make a difference . And I love how he's using his Olympic experience to guide him through this, it's like he's saying "I may not be able to control my cancer, but I can control how I respond to it" .
