You know what really gets me thinking about Shaka Hislop's story... it's not just that he stood up to those youths and decided to make a difference, but how his experiences with racism have made him realize that the fight against it isn't something you can fix overnight
. I mean, it's been 26 years since he first took on those abusers in Newcastle and we're still dealing with hate speech online... it shows that this is an issue that requires constant attention & effort
