San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie: ‘We Are a City on the Rise’

The interview with Mayor London Breed is the final episode of the season, and it's a special one. The conversation touches on various topics such as housing affordability, public safety, and her strategy for governing San Francisco within the larger federal context.

Breed emphasizes the importance of focusing on what she can control, which includes managing the city's budget and implementing policies that benefit the community. She also discusses the need to work with state and federal officials to address issues like healthcare funding and the upcoming health care cuts that will affect San Francisco.

The conversation turns to Breed's social media presence, with her acknowledging her prolific output on Instagram and Twitter. However, she playfully teases the publication about still having a physical magazine and jokingly admits to falling asleep while listening to podcasts.

The final segment is a lighthearted exchange between Breed and the podcast host, with Breed praising the publication's employees for their involvement in the community and encouraging listeners to get engaged as well. She wraps up by expressing her optimism about San Francisco's comeback and encouraging everyone to join the effort.

Throughout the conversation, Breed showcases her passion for public service, her commitment to addressing the city's pressing issues, and her approachable personality. The interview provides a unique glimpse into the life and policies of Mayor London Breed, making it an engaging read for anyone interested in San Francisco politics or municipal governance.

🤔 I think what really stood out to me was how relatable Mayor Breed came across, you know? She's not trying to sound like some stuffy politician, but instead is willing to have a conversation and be a little vulnerable. That's really refreshing in today's politics. 🙌

And can we talk about her social media presence for a second? I mean, she's got a lot of followers, but it's cool that she's not trying to use it as some kind of power tool. She's just using it to connect with people and share her ideas. That's something we could all learn from. 💻

I also love how she talked about focusing on what she can control and working with others to make a difference. It's so easy to get caught up in feeling like we're not doing enough, but Mayor Breed is showing us that even small steps can add up. 🌟

I'm so done with politicians talking about how they focus on what they can control 🤦‍♀️ like that's some kinda secret sauce 🧀. It's about time someone asked about the bigger picture, you know? I mean Breed says she works with state and federal officials but honestly who really gets anything done when it comes down to it 💸? It'd be interesting to see her actual plans for tackling housing affordability, not just some vague statements 📝. And btw, can't believe she fell asleep listening to podcasts 😴💤. Still, gotta give props to her for being approachable and genuine – maybe we'll actually get some progress out of this 🤞🏻

I'm not sure how I feel about mayors having their own social media presence lol 🤷‍♀️. On one hand, it's dope that she's got a big following and can use her platform to spread awareness on issues like housing affordability. But at the same time, isn't that kinda... extra? 🙃 Still, I do love how real she is about not taking herself too seriously - who hasn't fallen asleep during a podcast before, right? 😴💤

omg i loved this episode!!! 🤩 the format is so on point - from the intro to the final segment, everything flows perfectly. i'm not just saying that because i love layout and structure lol. but seriously, breed's answers are really relatable and she comes across as super down-to-earth. i love how she pokes fun at herself too - it makes her seem even more approachable. 💁‍♀️ and can we talk about the transition between topics? it's seamless 🔄. overall, this episode is a great representation of what this podcast has to offer. 👍

🤔 so i was reading about this interview with mayor london breed and she seems super down to earth you know? she's not afraid to poke fun at herself which is really refreshing 🙃 and i love how she emphasizes the importance of focusing on what she can control like managing the city's budget that makes sense right? 🤷‍♀️ but what really got me thinking was when she talked about working with state and federal officials to address issues like healthcare funding it's like, isn't that something we should be talking about more often? 💡

🤔 I think what struck me most about this interview was how down-to-earth Mayor Breed came across. Like, she's not afraid to poke fun at herself, you know? 😂 But seriously, her focus on managing the city's budget and community policies feels like a breath of fresh air. San Francisco needs someone who's gonna tackle those tough issues head-on without just blaming others or making empty promises 🙄. And I love how she's not afraid to speak up about the things that matter, even if it means going against some big-name politicians 💁‍♀️. The fact that she's still got a human touch despite being in such a high-profile position is really inspiring 👏

I'm loving this podcast episode on Mayor London Breed 🐱💬 - she's so down-to-earth and relatable! I mean, who hasn't fallen asleep during a podcast at some point? 😂 It's great to see her being herself and not taking herself too seriously. And I love that she's all about focusing on what she can control and working with others to make a difference - it's so refreshing! 🌈 I'm intrigued by the way she talks about social media, though... do you think politicians should be more present online? Should they be using their platforms to engage with the public in a different way? 🤔

🤩 I'm loving this special episode of the podcast! Mayor Breed is so down-to-earth and relatable, you feel like you're sittin' across from her at a community event 🍺💬 She's all about keepin' it real and talkin' about the issues that matter most to SF residents. I mean, who wouldn't want to know more about how she plans to tackle housing affordability and public safety? 😂 The lighthearted part of the conversation had me gigglin', I love how she pokes fun at herself on social media 🤣 But what really impressed me is her passion for public service - it's clear she's all in and not afraid to roll up her sleeves. Can't wait to see what the future holds for SF under her leadership 💪

I'm loving how honest Mayor Breed is about not having time for podcasts 🤣😴, but for real though, it's awesome that she's using her social media presence to amplify the community's voices and encourage folks to get involved! I think what I love most about this interview is that she's all about focusing on what she can control, like managing the city's budget, and not getting too caught up in things that are outside of her power 🤑📊. It's so refreshing to see a politician be so down-to-earth and personable! 💖

🤔 I'm loving how open Mayor Breed is about what she can control, like budget management - it's refreshing to hear her prioritize community benefits over just chasing big city goals. 🌆 At the same time, it's interesting that she mentions working with state and federal officials... does that mean she's looking to push for more local autonomy? 💼 I also love how playful she is about social media - we need more politicians who can laugh at themselves and not take themselves too seriously! 😂 And can't wait to see what she has planned for San Francisco's comeback efforts - fingers crossed it includes some real action on affordability and public safety 🤞

I think its super lame that she talked about how she only focuses on what she can control 🤷‍♂️ like, isnt she the mayor? aint she got some say in whats going on nationwide? and yeah, sure, she's all cute and stuff on instagram 👀 but does anyone really care about her online presence? idk, I just think its kinda weird that shes being so "on brand" for a politician 🤔

I gotta say, this podcast is pretty meh... I mean, don't get me wrong, Mayor Breed seems like a cool cat and all, but the format's just so... predictable. Like, we're gonna talk about housing affordability? Public safety? Check. We're gonna do a Q&A with social media? Check. It's all so surface-level.

And don't even get me started on the podcast host's questions... they're always like "oh, Mayor Breed, how do you balance your personal life with work?" Um, hello? That's what assistants are for! Can we not ask the same tired questions every time?

I'm also low-key annoyed that I have to watch a video of someone talking about public service when I could be reading a real news article instead. Just saying.

Gotta respect the mayor's honesty about falling asleep during podcasts 🛋️😴 Her social media presence is fire, but who needs print when you can get the tea on Instagram and Twitter? 📸💁‍♀️ Breed seems like a real people person, always encouraging engagement and community involvement. SF's comeback vibes are everything right now 💪🏽❤️

I gotta say, I'm loving how open and honest Mayor Breed is about her social media presence 🤣 she's like, totally owning her online game and using it to connect with the community! But at the same time, I think it's awesome that she's willing to poke fun at herself and show a more relatable side. As someone who's all about spreading positivity and calm vibes 💆‍♀️, I think Mayor Breed is setting a great example for how to use social media for good and not just to promote yourself. Plus, her passion for public service is truly inspiring - she's got this amazing energy and enthusiasm that's infectious! 🌟

The irony of our reliance on social media 🤔... Mayor Breed's Instagram and Twitter presence is reflective of our society's desire for instant gratification - a curated highlight reel that leaves us wondering what we can truly achieve by merely consuming information 💡. And yet, when it comes to actual change, she reminds us that true power lies in what we can control, like managing the city's budget 📊. It's as if our online personas are just a facade for our real-world impact. Breed's humility and willingness to poke fun at herself humanizes her and makes her approachable - a refreshing reminder that even those in positions of power can be relatable 👥.

I gotta say, I'm loving this mayor's vibe 🤗 she seems super down to earth and genuinely cares about the people of San Francisco. I mean, who can't relate to falling asleep while listening to podcasts? 😂 but seriously, it's awesome that she's keeping her feet on the ground and focusing on what she can control - like making sure San Francisco is taken care of.

I think it's also super refreshing that she's not afraid to poke fun at herself and acknowledge where the publication still has its roots in the old-school world. Like, who needs a magazine when you have podcasts, right? 📰😴 And I love how she's encouraging everyone to get involved and join the effort - that's what we need more of!

As someone who lives in SF, it's great to see our mayor speaking out about the issues that matter most to us. From housing affordability to public safety, she's tackling some tough topics head-on. And I'm loving her optimism about San Francisco's comeback - let's get behind her and make this city shine! 💪

📰💔 just watched this final ep of that podcast with mayor london breed and honestly can't believe she's still dodging the real issues... like how san francisco is still way overpriced 🤯 and her city budget is basically just a magic trick to keep prices low for the rich 🤑 while the rest of us are struggling to make ends meet 💸 meanwhile, they're talking about healthcare funding and it's all just lip service 🗣️

I was just thinking about how I'm totally due for a garden makeover 🌱🏠. I mean, my plants are all overgrown and stuff, and I know that new succulent trend is really coming into its own right now 🤔. Breed's on Instagram though - can you imagine having to keep up with that? 😂 My friend got one of those automated accounts that just posts the same selfie every day... anyway, it's funny she's still doing a physical mag despite all the digital fuss 📰💻.

OMG 🤯 she's so down-to-earth! I love how real she is about not having control over everything 🙄 like, we can't just wave a magic wand and solve all our problems 🌈. It's great to see her focusing on what she can control, like managing the budget 💸. And btw, who wouldn't want to fall asleep during podcasts 😴? Sounds like a normal human being to me! Her social media presence is fire 🔥, but I'm still holding out for a digital mag 👍. Anyway, I love how optimistic she stays 🌞 about SF's comeback – we need more positivity in the world!
