Replacing a manager midseason is a big call, and not as simple as it sounds | Jonathan Wilson

I think it's super frustrating for managers and teams when they need to make changes during a big season like this 🤯. It's like trying to find a new recipe mid-way through cooking – you gotta adjust everything, or the whole thing falls apart! 😂 And with European competitions adding to the mix, it's like trying to juggle too many balls at once 🎾.

I'm all for giving teams a chance to regroup and reassess their squads, but sometimes it feels like they're just throwing spaghetti against the wall and seeing what sticks 🍝. I mean, Liverpool was doing so well with Arne Slot, and now they're back to square one... 😔

What's even crazier is how top managers are basically stuck waiting until the summer for a chance to leave or get hired – it's like being on hold at customer service, but instead of getting a human, you get a calendar 📆!

🤯 this is getting crazy! who's gonna make some good calls and help these teams turn it around? arne slot was on fire at liverpool but even he couldn't keep the magic going forever... meanwhile, spurs are like "meh, we'll just stick with tommy" lol no they need to take a risk, get someone in who's gonna shake things up! 🔄 and what's with all these interim managers? can't they just find someone who's gonna make it happen already?! 😤

omg i feel like these teams are stuck between a rock and a hard place 🤯 their managers need to make some changes but if they do now it's gonna be tough to get back on track before the world cup 🌎 what about these former players tho? should they just go back to playing or try to guide the team in a different capacity? i think it's super complicated and clubs are gonna have to wait until the summer to figure some things out 🤔
