Renée Rapp, the talented singer and former star of Sex Lives of College Girls, has been forced to postpone two final dates of her headlining tour, Bite Me Tour, due to a debilitating illness.
The news comes as Rapp has been crisscrossing North America for the past month on the 29-date tour, which was supposed to culminate in early 2026 with a European swing.
On Sunday, Rapp shared that she had been pushing through an illness but her body "has finally given out". Her doctors have advised her not to perform due to the need for vocal rest and physical recovery.
In response, Rapp announced on Monday that she would be rescheduling two late-tour dates – originally scheduled in Atlanta (Oct 26) and Tampa (Oct 27) – with new dates set for Nov 4 and Nov 5 respectively. The show at State Farm Arena in Charlotte, N.C. has been moved forward as planned.
Rapp expressed her regret to fans and apologized for having to move things around. She stated that she truly appreciated the time, planning, and preparation that goes into attending a concert and was heartbroken about having to postpone.
The cancellation of these two final dates highlights Rapp's dedication to her health during this critical period, particularly with all original tickets being honored for the rescheduled shows.
