Primates' same-sex sexual behaviour 'may reinforce bonds amid environmental stress'

🤔 I'm not surprised they're finding this stuff out now. Like, have you noticed how all these studies are coming up with super inconvenient truths? 🚫 Same-sex relationships in primates, climate change affecting human behavior... it's like the universe is just trying to tell us something, but we don't wanna hear it because it's too uncomfortable. 🙅‍♂️ And what really gets me is how they're always saying 'but we can't draw direct parallels with humans'... like, yeah, I get it, humans are super complex and all that, but come on! We're the ones who made the internet, for crying out loud! 😉 Maybe if we just looked at nature a bit more closely, we'd figure some of this stuff out already. 👀

omg u no what this study says? apparently sam sex relations among primates r like a bonding mechanism 4 them when things get stressful in da wild lol idk about me but i think its kinda cool dat they're finding ways 2 cope wit harsh envirnments. like, in arid places where resources r scarce, sam sex is more common and it helps reduce tensions n increase bonding among group members. its interesting cuz it shows how environmental factors can shape social systems & behaviors. anyway, not saying this r a direct comparison 2 human xo but maybe we cn learn somethin from our primate pals about copin wit stress n findin love in weird places
