
I'm totally blown away by the corruption in professional sports


. I mean, 3 million Americans struggling with compulsive gambling is just insane

. It's like, we're supposed to be rooting for our favorite teams, not our own personal vices

.
And what really gets me is that MLB has changed its stance on sports betting, which just makes it easier for these problems to spread

. I'm all for some regulation and awareness, but come on, can't we take this issue seriously without having to resort to ads on TV?
It's like Matt Bowyer said (or rather, didn't say), he had a good 'spiel' that would sell subscriptions... yeah, until he got caught

. And poor Ippei Mizuhara, sentenced to 57 months in federal prison. That's some serious consequence

.
Anyway, I'm all about the format now

. Someone should really get this story straight and make it easy to follow. Maybe a graphic with some stats and visuals? Something to break up the text and give people a chance to process what's going on

. Just my two cents!
