Philly sues CVS Health, other pharmacy benefit managers for their roles in opioid crisis

Can't believe these pharmacy companies are so reckless . Like, we're talking about people's lives here. I mean, they knew all about the dangers of opioids and still went ahead with those massive profits . It's outrageous that they prioritized their bank accounts over public health. And to think that CVS is just denying everything like that's gonna make it all go away? No way. The city needs to hold these companies accountable and get some real change in Philly ASAP . And btw, the fact that this lawsuit comes at a time when Philly is already struggling with the crisis is just devastating . We need people who care about us, not just profit margins .

I'm totally with Philly on this one ! These pharmacy benefit managers have been playing a huge role in the opioid crisis, and it's crazy they're not taking responsibility for their actions. I mean, think about it - they've got access to all this data, but instead of using it to help prevent overdoses, they're just lining their pockets with rebates .

It's heartbreaking that Black and Hispanic communities have been hit so hard by this crisis. We need to hold these companies accountable for prioritizing profits over people . Philly is taking a big step in fighting back against the opioid epidemic, and I'm rooting for them all the way . The city's demand for corrective action programs is also super necessary - we can't just keep throwing money at the problem without addressing the root causes .
