I'm totally shocked by this whole thing! I mean, I know we're supposed to trust our gov but when it comes to these kinda things, it's hard not to feel like they're just making up the rules as they go along. Like, how do you even define a narco-terrorist? It sounds super vague and open to interpretation... And all those innocent people getting killed on the boats, it's just awful. I'm so confused about what's really going on here... is the US government really trying to protect us or are they just making up stories to justify their actions?
I'm so worried about this whole situation, but I think it's also kinda a wake-up call for us to re-examine our approach to fighting narco-trafficking . I mean, we need to protect our people, no doubt about it, but are we doing it in a way that's respectful of human rights and the law? It's crazy that 80+ lives have been lost in these strikes, and now we're questioning whether they were even narco-terrorists in the first place...it just highlights how complex this issue is .
Maybe instead of labeling everyone on those boats as "narco-terrorists", we should be looking at the root causes of this problem – poverty, inequality, lack of opportunities . Let's focus on building a more just society where people aren't forced to turn to crime or become involved in narco-trafficking. We can do better than this !
omg u guys cant believe wat he said like kill everybody lol what a psycho ok not really but seriously how can u give orders 2 kill ppl on a boat? thats crazy! i mean i get that hes tryin 2 stop narco-trafficking but does it have 2 be this extreme? experts say its unlawful so like whats the diff between rite and wrong here? and btw if he said that in public then why isnt he fired yet? seems like a total breach of protocol 2 me
OMG, this is crazy! I'm literally shaking my head... like, come on Secretary Hegseth, how can you say that? Killing people without a proper investigation or due process? It's not just about targeting narco-terrorists, it's about respecting human life, period.
I mean, the reports from lawmakers and human rights groups are saying some serious stuff - allegations of unlawful strikes and extrajudicial executions... That's what we should be concerned about, not some fabricated claims of fabrications.
What really gets me is that this is happening under a Trump administration that prides itself on being tough on crime but somehow turns it into a free-for-all? Not cool, guys!
idk man... i think pete hegseth's denials are pretty sketchy... like, even if he didn't give those orders, it's still super concerning that defense officials carried them out anyway and now more than 80 people are dead... that's just crazy! but at the same time, i get why critics are going after him - his whole "narco-terrorists" thing sounds like a total cop-out to me... and yeah, if those survivors were indeed leaders of a cartel or gang, then maybe he's got some legit grounds for taking action but what about the innocent bystanders who got caught in the crossfire?
man I'm just worried about how things are escalating ... i mean i get it we gotta take care of our borders but killing people over a boat? that's like, super extreme ... i think we need to reevaluate what we're doing and make sure we're not getting too carried away with the 'narco-terrorist' label... 80+ lives lost already, that's just crazy ... i wish more ppl would speak out against these actions and try to find a more peaceful solution
