Out of the WSL title race - where has it gone wrong for Chelsea?

🤯 I'm literally shaking my head after reading this! They went from being nearly unbeaten to almost getting thrashed 5-1 by City 🏈😱 What happened to all that dominance? It's like they got complacent and lost sight of what made them great in the first place. And now they're fighting for qualification, it's just heartbreaking 😔. Can't believe I'm saying this about Chelsea, one of my fave teams... I guess even the mighty can fall 🤦‍♀️

I'm not surprised to see Chelsea's title defence crumbling so badly 🤦‍♀️... I mean, I thought they were unbeatable for years but it was always a matter of when, not if, something would go wrong. The squad just doesn't seem as deep as it used to be and the manager needs to get some reinforcements in ASAP 💪. Bompastor's talking about increasing squad size is music to my ears, hope she can make some changes happen... but at this rate, I'm not holding out much hope 😔. The FA Cup's still a chance for them to salvage something, but it's not going to be enough to save their WSL title 🏆... they need to get back to basics and focus on developing some consistency if they want to make a comeback 💥.

I mean, can't help but think that all this fuss about Chelsea's title defence being derailed is a bit overblown? I know they're not performing as well as fans had hoped, but five losses in the season and you're already questioning the manager? It's not like they've been getting absolutely thrashed every week. A 5-1 loss to City was bad, I'll give it to them, but that's football – it happens. And what's with all this talk about squad size and rotation? It sounds like a cop-out to me. Chelsea's got talent on their team, they just need to gel. And let's be real, Manchester City are on fire too! Maybe we should give the teams a break instead of panicking about every loss? 🤔
