Opinion: Kid Rock is no replacement for Bad Bunny - Detroit Metro Times

I'm low-key disappointed in the NFL's choice 🤔. I mean, Bad Bunny was gonna bring some serious heat and break down those cultural barriers 🌯️. Kid Rock just can't compete with that energy 💪. And let's be real, Gortsema is a hater 🙄. Newsflash: Puerto Rico may not be part of the mainland, but its people are American citizens too 🇺🇸. What's next? Are they gonna book some good ol' boy country singer to perform at the Super Bowl and forget about the rest of the world 😒? The NFL should've gone all-in on Bad Bunny and made it a cultural moment 🔥. Instead, they're just settling for some mediocre middle-of-the-road act 🎶.

I'm so disappointed with the halftime show lineup this year 🤦‍♂️. I mean, can't they see that having Kid Rock alongside Bad Bunny is like putting apples and oranges on stage? One guy's a Latinx icon who represents a vibrant culture, and the other... well, he just doesn't seem to get it 🙅‍♂️. The NFL was supposed to use this platform to celebrate diversity and challenge stereotypes, but instead they went for the safe bet with Kid Rock.

It's not just about his music being "less impactful" either - it's about the message he sends. I mean, who wants to be associated with someone who uses language that's often seen as divisive or insensitive? Not me, that's for sure 😒. Bad Bunny, on the other hand, is a game-changer. He's not just representing himself, but his community and all the people who are proud to call themselves Latinx 🌟.

The NFL should know better - they're missing out on an opportunity to use their platform to bring people together instead of driving them further apart 💔. I'm still hoping that someone will speak up and change this lineup before it's too late ⏰.
