One of China’s most popular apps has the ability to spy on its users, say experts | CNN Business

omg what a huge security breach!!! 🤯 i'm so angry that regulators failed to detect this malware, it's like they were sleeping at the wheel. how can a company get away with collecting users' sensitive info without consent? and now pinduoduo is all "oh we fired the team" but i don't believe them. what if there are still backdoors or something? 🤔 this is just a huge oversight failure, plain and simple. tech companies need to be held accountable for their actions, and regulators need to step up their game. it's not like pinduoduo was a small-time player, they're a major e-commerce company in china. how many people were affected by this? we should all be worried 🚨

I'm getting worried about these new tech trends 🤔💻. I mean, how can we trust that big e-commerce companies are keeping our info safe? Apparently, even a Chinese cybersecurity firm found malware in Pinduoduo's app and nobody seemed to care 🙅‍♂️. And now they're saying it was just an "oversight failure" by regulators? That doesn't exactly fill me with confidence 😒. What if this is the norm? Companies can do whatever they want without being held accountable? I don't think so, but what if we're just not seeing the whole story? 🤷‍♂️

🤔 this is just getting weird... so pinduoduo finds malware, but chinese regulators are all "meh" about it? 🙄 what even is the point of having rules if no one's gonna enforce them? 🚫 i mean, don't get me wrong, i'm glad the team behind the malware got canned, but shouldn't they've gotten caught and reported in the first place? 🤷‍♂️ it's like they're playing a game of "chinese tech roulette" where you spin the wheel and hope for the best... meanwhile, users are just left to wonder if their data is being sold on the black market or used for who-knows-what 😳.

Ugh, not surprised 🙄. I mean, who needs regulations when you've got a team of skilled engineers, right? 😒 It's like they say, "the power is in the code"... and in this case, the code is written by people who clearly have no qualms about snooping on users' personal info 🤖. And yeah, it's just another example of how China's regulators are more interested in letting companies grow than actually keeping them accountable 💸. On the bright side, I guess we can all rest easy knowing that our private lives are being carefully monitored by Pinduoduo... because, you know, security is overrated 🚫.

Ugh 🤯, this is just great... another company exploiting user data and regulators are too lazy to do anything about it 😒. I mean, come on, how hard is it to scan an app for malware? Apparently, not that hard for Pinduoduo. And what's even worse is that they were able to get away with it because of "oversight failure". Like, who's in charge over there? 🤦‍♂️ The fact that they disbanded the team behind the malware but left the code out is just a slap on the wrist 😏. I'm sure nothing will change now and we'll just see more of this nonsense happening in the future. Mark my words... 💸
