I'm kinda surprised they didn't meet their own deadline... like, what's a few extra months right? But seriously, it's good to know that they're taking steps to improve transparency and accountability now. And yeah, the fact that most denied requests were later granted is a bit concerning, but at least it shows that the department was willing to listen. The thing is, body-worn cameras are meant to help build trust between cops and the community, so if we can't even get them to work right, it's gonna be tough . Still, I'm hopeful that they'll stick to their new plans and make some real progress. Fingers crossed!
