OMG you guys, I'm literally so confused by this decision

! Like, don't get me wrong, I think we should be all about free trade and stuff, but at the same time, China's not exactly known for being transparent or safe when it comes to tech exports

. And now NVIDIA is gonna sell its fancy AI chips to "approved" customers in China? That just doesn't sit right with me

.
And can we talk about the 25% tariff on those sales? Like, that's a pretty steep price for American companies to pay

. It feels like they're just trying to make it harder for NVIDIA to do business in China, but at the same time, they're not making it easy for Chinese companies to access those chips either

.
I mean, I get that the US government wants to protect its interests and all that, but can't we find a way to balance that with being fair to American businesses? It feels like we're just playing a game of "chicken" here, where everyone's just trying to one-up each other

. Anyway, I hope this decision doesn't backfire on us, because tech is such a huge part of our economy
