NFC Hierarchy/Obituary: Week 13 edition

Week 13 in the NFC has come to a close, with the Los Angeles Rams emerging as the lone team standing at the top of the division with an impressive record of 9-2. The Dallas Cowboys narrowly escaped elimination after a thrilling win over their arch-rivals in Philadelphia, thanks in part to some questionable calls from officials that will be debated for weeks to come.

The NFC hierarchy is taking a hit this week, with several teams falling behind the Rams in the standings. In fact, only two teams remain within striking distance of Los Angeles: the Eagles and Bears. The Birds had a scare against Dallas, but their victory should cement their spot as the second team in line for a playoff berth.

Bryce Young and the Panthers are still trying to find their footing this season, with a disappointing performance against the 49ers on Monday night that left many wondering if they can turn things around. The 6-6 record is a far cry from what fans had hoped for, and it remains to be seen if Young's play will improve as the season wears on.

The Cowboys have shown flashes of brilliance this year, but their inconsistency has cost them dearly in recent weeks. Can they find a way to close out games like Sunday night's thriller against Philly? Or will they fall short once again?

Meanwhile, the Seahawks are quietly making a push for the top seed, thanks in part to Jaxon Smith-Njigba's incredible performance on Monday night. The young wideout is on pace to break Calvin Johnson's single-season receiving record, and his emergence could be just what Seattle needs to propel themselves into playoff contention.

For now, the Rams sit atop the NFC hierarchy with a comfortable lead over their division rivals. But as we all know, nothing is ever certain in the NFL โ€“ even not when it comes to the most talented teams on paper.

the rams are lookin' pretty strong atm ๐Ÿˆโ€โ™‚๏ธ they got some big wins under their belt and their record's reflectin it 9-2 is no joke, especially with the eagles and bears right behind them ๐Ÿ’ช but u gotta feel for bryce young and the panthers, they're strugglin to find their groove after that 49ers loss ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ hopefully he can turn it around and lead his team to some big wins. the cowboys are def inconsistent, one week they're crushin it, next they're losin by a hair ๐Ÿ˜ฌ gotta see how they bounce back from sunday's thriller against philly. and omg jaxon smith-njigba is ON ๐Ÿ”ฅ breaking calvin johnson's rec record? that's wild ๐Ÿคฏ the seahawks are makin moves too, quiet but deadly ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ

Ugh, I'm so done with the Rams being undefeated ๐Ÿคฏ. They're basically cheating or something. The calls from officials against Dallas were legit questionable, but what's really bothering me is that no one's talking about how overhyped this team is getting. Like, they haven't even played anyone tough yet? And don't even get me started on the Cowboys' inconsistent play - at least they're having fun and putting up crazy points in their wins ๐Ÿคช. The Seahawks are quietly making a push because they're not expected to win anyway, lol. Meanwhile, the Panthers are just tanking with Bryce Young's struggles ๐Ÿ˜‚. The real question is: who actually cares about this NFC hierarchy?

I think its crazy how much drama this league can bring. Like I'm watching from the sidelines and its like, whoa, did the refs really just make those calls against Dallas? ๐Ÿคฏ Meanwhile, Seattle is flying under the radar but Jaxon Smith-Njigba is putting up some insane numbers. The Rams are on fire right now but can they keep it up? Theres so much to play for this time of year, especially with the playoffs approaching ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ’ฅ

๐Ÿˆ So I think the key factor here is the inconsistency of the top teams, like the Cowboys ๐Ÿค”. They have these huge games where they play out of their minds, but then follow up with games that are just meh ๐Ÿ’ค. It's making it hard for them to lock down a playoff spot. Meanwhile, the Seahawks are quietly building momentum ๐Ÿ‘€, and if Jaxon Smith-Njigba keeps performing at this level, they could make some noise in the playoffs ๐Ÿ”ฅ.

On the other hand, I'm not too surprised that the Panthers aren't living up to expectations ๐Ÿ˜. They had high hopes for Bryce Young coming out of college, but it's clear that he's still got some growing pains to deal with ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Still, you can never count them out entirely - they've shown glimpses of brilliance this season too ๐Ÿ’ซ.

It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out ๐Ÿ”ฎ. Will the Rams keep cruising? Can the Cowboys get it together? And what's in store for the Panthers and Seahawks? Only time will tell ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ.

omg I'm so hyped for the rest of the season!! ๐Ÿคฉ the Rams are looking unstoppable but you never know what's gonna happen in the nfl anything can change from one week to the next ๐Ÿ˜‚ and I love how the Cowboys are giving us all these thrillers on sunday nights, it's like they're trying to keep us on the edge of our seats! ๐Ÿ“บ meanwhile Jaxon Smith-Njigba is straight fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ breaking Calvin Johnson's record is not gonna be easy but if anyone can do it, it's him ๐Ÿ’ช so fingers crossed for Seattle and let's see how this season wraps up ๐Ÿคž

I'm still thinking about that Philly game ๐Ÿค”... those calls were wild! Like, what was going on there? ๐Ÿ˜‚ I mean, I love a good comeback story, but Dallas should've won by like 10 points easy ๐Ÿค‘. And now they're in second place? That's crazy! The Rams are looking good, though - their defense is on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ. But the Bears are still in it too... and Jaxon Smith-Njigba is a game-changer, for real ๐Ÿ˜ฒ. Can't wait to see what happens next week ๐Ÿ‘€

๐Ÿˆ What's up with the refs lately? I'm still thinking about that game between Dallas and Philly... some crazy calls if you ask me! ๐Ÿ˜‚ The Cowboys are so close to making a deep playoff run, but their inconsistency is really killing them. Can they get it together and finish games strong?

And omg Bryce Young is having an off season ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ 6-6 record is not what Panthers fans wanted. I'm keeping my fingers crossed he'll turn it around soon. And can we talk about Jaxon Smith-Njigba for a sec? ๐Ÿ˜ He's on fire and that single-season receiving record is within reach! What do you guys think Seattle's chances are now?

I feel like the NFC hierarchy is getting more and more confusing ๐Ÿคฏ The Rams are doing great, but who else has a shot at making it to the playoffs? And what about all these teams struggling mid season? Are they gonna make a comeback or just fade away? ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿค” The Rams are looking pretty solid right now, but you gotta wonder if that 9-2 record is gonna hold up down the stretch? I mean, they've had some close calls already and their offense can be a bit unpredictable at times. Can they keep it together or will their division rivals start to make some noise? ๐Ÿคž The Eagles are definitely in the mix right now, but they're not out of it yet - they still have some tough matchups ahead of them. And what's up with Bryce Young and the Panthers? One game doesn't define a whole season, but if he can find some consistency on offense that could be a huge turning point for them. ๐Ÿ‘€ The Seahawks are quietly sneaking up on people right now, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba is definitely a wild card - that single-season receiving record is within reach! ๐Ÿˆ

I gotta say, the NFC standings are getting pretty crazy right now! I'm loving how teams like Seattle and Dallas are making a push for the top seed, but at the same time, the Rams' 9-2 record is hard to ignore ๐Ÿ˜‚. That Bryce Young kid's got some 'splainin' to do if he wants to turn that Panthers team around... I mean, 6-6 record? Not exactly what fans were expecting ๐Ÿค”. And have you seen Jaxon Smith-Njigba's stats this season? Mind. Blown. ๐Ÿ‘€

omg i'm still reeling from that insane philly game lol the calls were sus but like who knows what's going on behind the scenes anyway ๐Ÿคฏ i think the cowboys have a legit shot at making it to the playoffs if they can close out games but consistency is key, you feel? and bruce young needs to step up his game ASAP or else panthers fans are gonna be like "what happened?" ๐Ÿ˜ฌ i'm loving the seahawks' momentum tho jaxon smith-njigba is a beast ๐Ÿคฉ he's gotta break that record if he wants to make it to super bowl xlix

I'm telling ya, this season is shaping up to be one for the books ๐Ÿคฏ! I mean, the Rams are looking solid, but that Dallas win was CRAZY ๐Ÿ˜‚... those officials must've been blindfolded or something! And don't even get me started on Bryce Young and the Panthers, what's going on with them? ๐Ÿค” One week they're on fire, next they're getting destroyed by 49ers. Can't keep up with 'em, I guess.

And the Seahawks are quietly sneaking up on everyone. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is a baller, no doubt about it! ๐Ÿ˜Ž But you can bet your last dollar that the Rams won't be giving anyone any sleep tonight. They're just too good right now. Still, gotta respect those underdogs who keep fighting. Maybe they'll pull off some magic and give everyone a surprise. Wouldn't put it past 'em.

But seriously, folks, I think we got some great football coming up this weekend. Can't wait to see how the teams shake out. Should be a real nail-biter! ๐Ÿ˜„
