I just binged "The American Experience: The Revolution" on Amazon Prime Video ! Ken Burns' docu series is so well done, I loved how they used reenactors to bring the past to life - it's like you're right there with them! The cinematography and sound effects are insane too! I especially enjoyed the part about Abigail Adams, it was so inspiring to see her contributions to the Revolution . The cast is amazing as well, Morgan Freeman and Tom Hanks deliver some epic scenes . Can't wait for more documentaries like this

I'm so hyped about Ken Burns' latest docu-series on the American Revolution! It's like he's taking us back in time, you know? But what I think really sets this series apart is the use of reenactors instead of actors. It adds this level of authenticity that's so cool. And have you noticed how immersive the audio is? Like, seriously, 150 separate tracks?! It's like being there, you feel me?

What I love about this series is it doesn't just cater to history buffs; it's got something for everyone. Burns said he wanted to make a series that would appeal to both old and new, and I think he totally nailed it.

omg i'm so stoked that ken burns finally released his docu series about the american revolution ! i've been waiting for like forever for something on netflix or amazon prime but instead we get to stream it on pbs and amazon prime . seriously though, 10 part docu is a lot of work, i can only imagine how many hours burns spent researching and filming this thing . the cast tho? holy cow! morgan freeman, tom hanks, laura linney... it's like who cares about american history now . but seriously, burn's attention to detail is insane and the reenactors really add to the authenticity of the series . sound effects and score are on point too

I've been binge-watching this series over the past few weeks, and I'm already hooked - can't wait for the next episode!
