this is amazing news I've lost so many family members to TB and the thought of a new treatment that can actually give people hope for a cure...it's just incredible! The fact that this treatment doesn't have to be tailored to each individual is going to make such a huge difference in places where access to healthcare is scarce. I'm not convinced about this new TB treatment just yet... I mean, sure, the results from those trials look promising, but what's the catch? We're talking about a universal treatment that could be given to anyone testing positive without waiting for specific test results - isn't that just gonna oversimplify things and lead to some folks getting unnecessary meds? And what about those concerns about overexposure to treatment? I need more info on how it's being studied beyond this one trial... 22 sites across multiple countries is a decent sample size, but is it enough? Also, have we really seen these "incredible" improvements in treatment outcomes before? What's the control group looking like here?
