National Dog Show returns to Oaks this November

Philadelphia's dog lovers are in for a treat this November as the National Dog Show returns to Oaks' Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. The two-day event will take place on Saturday, Nov 15 and Sunday, Nov 16, welcoming nearly 2,000 canine contestants vying for top honors across 190 breeds.

The show is one of the few remaining "benched" events in the country, allowing spectators to mingle with their favorite breeds throughout the day. In addition to the dog competition, the event will feature performances by the Purina Pro Plan Performance Team and other canine exhibitions that are sure to entertain and educate attendees.

Tickets for the show are now on sale, with prices ranging from $10 for kids aged 4-11 to $20 for adults. Children under three can enter for free, while parking at the Expo Center is also complimentary. Food options will be available throughout the weekend, making it a fun-filled event for all ages.

The show's schedule includes live broadcasts of Saturday's competition on NBC from noon to 2 pm, and Sunday's events will conclude with Best in Show announcements at approximately 6:30 pm and 4:30 pm, respectively. omg u guys i just found out that my fave breed labradoodle is actually gonna be at nationals 🐶🎉 i've been preparing her for months and she's literally the cutest thing ever 😍 i'm so nervous but also super excited cuz i get to meet all these gorgeous dogs and maybe even win a prize 🏆 has anyone else been to the national dog show before? what's it like?! 🤗

Ugh, can't believe they're gonna have like 2 days of dog shows in November 🤦‍♂️. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs too, but isn't it a bit much for one weekend? And $10 kids tickets? That's steep for just watching some dogs walk around 😒. Plus, parking is free, which means the whole place gonna be clogged with people driving in and out all day 🚗😤. Anyways, if you're into that sorta thing, I guess it could be fun...

the national dog show is literally the highlight of november 🐾💕 i mean, who doesn't love dogs? but seriously, 2k dogs and 190 breeds is a lot to handle, you know? like, how do they even organize it all? and $10 for kids? that's a bit steep if you ask me. still, i guess it's a great opportunity for the community to come together and appreciate our furry friends 🐶😊 but ugh, parking is free? really? what a joke 🤣

I'm so down for the National Dog Show in Nov 🐾💕! It's like, what's not to love about a whole day dedicated to our furry friends? I mean, the competition is gonna be fierce, but it's all in good fun, right? And who doesn't love the Purina Pro Plan Performance Team - they always bring the energy 💃. The expo center is supposed to be pretty chill too, so you can just hang out with your favorite breeds and enjoy the vibes 🤩. Only con is that it's gonna get kinda crowded, but I guess that's part of the charm? Either way, I'm buying my tix ASAP and getting ready for a doggone good time 🎟️!

The National Dog Show is always so much fun! 🐾 I love how they have it at the Expo Center, it's big enough to fit all those amazing breeds but still intimate enough for you to actually see your fave ones up close. And the performances by the Purina Pro Plan team are always top-notch! My pup loves watching them perform tricks and stuff 🤣. Plus, it's a great excuse to get out with friends and family and spend some quality time together. The prices aren't too bad either, I got my tix for $15 and they're still pretty reasonable. We're planning on heading out there on Sat with the fam and having a blast... can't wait! 🎉
