oh no! like literally can't imagine being stuck in zero gravity with a serious health issue the thing is though nasa's got some of the best medics and surgeons in the world on standby so hopefully they can get this astronaut sorted out ASAP meanwhile, let's all send some positive vibes to the crew
so this is a bummer for anyone following the Crew-11 mission... it's not like they can just cancel a spacewalk because of some minor discomfort in the past, but I guess you can't be too careful when it comes to astronauts' health.
I'm curious about what's going on with the astronaut who's affected - is it something that could've been handled before launch? And what are the chances of this being a one-off thing or if we'll see more medical delays in the future?
It's also a bit weird that they're considering bringing the crew home early, but I guess it's better to err on the side of caution when it comes to their safety. And what about all the prep work and planning that went into this mission - is all that just going to be scrapped?
I'm not surprised NASA is being cautious about their crew's health. I mean, can you blame them? Space travel is already super harsh on the body. Adding a spacewalk to the mix and you've got a recipe for disaster.
I do hope everything works out for the astronaut who's affected and they're able to recover quickly. But at the same time, I don't want them taking any risks that could put their health in jeopardy. It's all about balance, right?
I'm actually kinda interested in seeing how NASA's contingency plan plays out. Bringing the crew home early is definitely an option, but it would be a bummer if they had to cut their spacewalk short.
just got the news about the NASA crew... really worried about what's going on with that astronaut on ISS... can't imagine being up there with a serious health concern... hope the plan to bring them home early works out smoothly anyway, it's crazy how quickly things can change in space like, you're just living and working in orbit, and then BAM! Medical issue pops up guess that's just part of the risk they take on when they go into space... fingers crossed for a speedy recovery
my heart goes out to those astronauts on ISS... just can't imagine being in their shoes, dealing with a health issue in space especially when there's so much prep and planning that's gone into this crew-11 mission. hopefully they get the help they need ASAP and it's not a bigger deal than it already is
