Can you believe this? They're making billions off people's suffering and then they're exploiting a loophole in the law to avoid paying tax on it? It's just not right. The government's supposed to be protecting its citizens, but instead they're letting these big banks get away with it. I mean, £2 billion is a small price for the sake of accountability and fairness . And now Labour's stepping in, finally someone's taking action. It's about time we see some real change in this country

this is just crazy... i mean, £2 billion is a lot of money and it's not like these banks are going to use it to help people affected by the scandal... they're just going to pocket it and that's just not right. i think the government needs to step in here and close this loophole ASAP.

omg u wont believe this! so theres this loophole in uk laws that banks and lenders can use 2 avoid payin £2 BILLION in tax its literally a massive hole in the system! theyre usin it 2 deduct compensation payouts from their profits before calculatin corporation tax lol what kinda sick move is that? and the worst part is that taxpayers are gonna lose out big time on this one those affected by the motor finance scandal r still gettin screwed and its not just uk banks either, lloyds banking group's black horse division is also gettin away with it

I'm freaking out about this! Like, £2 billion is a LOT of money and it's basically being siphoned off from taxpayers who already got screwed over by these car finance companies . It's so messed up that big banks like Barclays and Santander UK are using loopholes to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. I mean, come on! They're making bank (no pun intended) while ordinary people are left with the bill . We need some serious action from lawmakers ASAP to close this loophole and make sure everyone pays their fair share ️

OMG u guys!!! I'm literally fumin about this one... banks gettin away with £2 BILLION in tax is just not cool . They're basically findin a way to avoid payin' up on those car finance payouts, which is meant for people who got screwed over by these companies. It's like, come on guys! You gotta do the right thing! The gov needs to step in and close this loophole ASAP . I mean, it's not exactly a secret that banks don't always play fair, but this one takes the cake . Let's hope Labour and others can push for some change before the FCA's consultation closes out
