Woman Suffering from "Very Minor" Injuries After Being Struck by Train in Hinsdale.
A woman was involved in a train accident when an inbound Metra BNSF line train struck her vehicle at the Monroe Street crossing on Monday. According to police, she sustained only minor injuries and was taken to Hinsdale Hospital for treatment.

. Glad she's okay, only minor injuries? That still sounds super scary and frustrating for someone who just wants to go about their day without worrying about getting hit by a train 
. Monroe Street crossing should really be looked into, maybe some safety upgrades or something? Like, I get it accidents can happen but it's just one of those things that makes you wonder if there's more that could've been done

I just got a new phone and I'm still getting used to it... anyway, train accidents are crazy! Like, how does someone even forget that a train is coming? 
Does anyone know what kind of training Metra has for their drivers? Shouldn't they be able to avoid these kinds of accidents? Just curious...

) this is like, one of those moments where u just sit there thinking "why did she even stop at that light in the first place?" 
anyway, glad she's alright though, major props for that. but seriously though, shouldn't there be more safety measures at those crossings, you know? like cameras or something to prevent these kinds of accidents from happening in the first place?

! One minute you're going about your day, and the next thing you know, a train just... whoosh! It's crazy how something like that can happen in an instant
