Messi backlash in India after fans pay up to $150 for 20-minute visit

I mean I get why people are upset about Messi only playing for 20 minutes... $150 is a lot of cash just to see him run around the field for a bit . It's like, you'd think he'd make some time for the fans or something. The event organizers should really consider what fans want instead of just lining their pockets with cash . And honestly, I don't blame people for being mad – it feels like they got taken advantage of . Maybe next time Messi can do a meet and greet or something to make up for the short appearance? That way fans wouldn't feel so ripped off .

I feel bad for all those people who paid a lot of money to see Messi play and only got 20 minutes with him... like, isn't that just a tiny chunk of his whole game? It's like, you're already paying top dollar, you'd expect at least an hour or so with your idol, right? Event organizers should really think about the fans' experience before making decisions like this.

I've seen some people saying it's not Messi's fault, that he's just following his team's schedule, but I guess you could argue that his team should have managed expectations better? It's all about communication and transparency, you know?

Boycotting sports events in India if similar things happen again is a pretty drastic measure, though. Can't we just talk this out and work on finding solutions instead of resorting to threats?
