Medical examiner releases details on early storm deaths as NYC faces more ‘lethal’ temps

Ugh, can you believe what's happening here? 😱 I mean, I know we've been warned about climate change and stuff, but it's still shocking to see people dying on the streets like this. Five deaths, all due to hypothermia... it's heartbreaking, man. And to think, these folks had stable housing, but they still couldn't survive the cold. It's like, what's going on here?

And don't even get me started on the city's response 🙄. I mean, coordination issues? That's just ridiculous. They need to step up their game and provide more warming centers and outreach services ASAP. And what's with the NYPD pushing people out of subway stations? Like, come on, that's not how you help people in need.

And have you seen all those complaints about heating issues? 🤯 80,000 complaints in January alone... that's just nuts. I mean, I know it's cold and all, but this is just basic human rights stuff right here. Everyone deserves a warm place to go when the temperature drops.

I'm so glad they're making changes now, though 💪. Police won't be forcing people out of subway stations unless they pose a danger... that's a big step in the right direction. And let's hope these warming centers and outreach services can make a difference. We need to do better, guys 🤗.

OMG I'm so worried about those people 🤕😩! Five deaths already? That's just heartbreaking 😭. And poor Frederick Jones was literally standing on the streets with stable housing but still couldn't make it through the storm ❄️. The city needs to step up its game and get everyone warm ASAP 🔥💨. I mean, 80,000 complaints about heat issues in one month? That's insane 😲. Can't believe they're having to deal with all this on top of the winter storm 💔. Maybe they should look into getting more warming centers open or something? 🤔

man i'm so worried about those ppl out there on the streets 😩 they're literally freezing to death & it's just not right that some ppl have to suffer like this cuz of a harsh storm...the city's response is better than nothing but we need more ❤️ warming centers & outreach services that can help these people get thru this winter without losing their lives 🚨 and btw 80k complaints about heating issues? that's just insane 🔥 how are they supposed to stay warm w no heat or hot water? this is like, super basic human rights stuff we need to talk about 😔
